I'm soliciting for expressions of interest from teams or individuals keen to simulate the Nurburgring 24 hour race in 1x time scale. This event will require you have a simulator/cockpit and perform driver changes in the pits.
The event, provided enough competitors enter, will run alongside the ADAC Nurburgring 24h race on 17/05/2012. The event will be a full simulation. 1x time scale and weather will aim to reflect the conditions at the track. Classes and regulations TBA, but will be comparable to the real event.
However, 24 hours is a long time, and it's kept interesting in reality by the fact 200-odd cars are on the track, something GT5 currently cannot simulate. Things might work better with 2-4x time progression and the race compressed into 12 or 6 hours. Another option is multiple classes running sprint races in sequence with 1x time scale. What are your thoughts?
