Welcome to the 3rd annual Le Mans Prediction Competition. Rules are carrying over from last year, and still very similar to what @Earth conceived a couple years ago.
Results
Deadline: Before the race starts on Saturday June 14th, 2014
You are welcome to change your submissions as often as you'd like before the race starts, however posts after 15:00 CEST on June 14th and edits after June 13th will not be accepted.
There are 4 classes of cars racing at Le Mans and you will pick up to two entries that you predict will finish highly in each class.
The classes are:
LMP1(this competition does not distinguish between LMP1-H and LMP1-L)
LMP2
GTE Pro
GTE Am
If a car does not finish the race, it does not score any points. If the car is not classified, it does not score any points. Points will be awarded in a 10-7-5-3-2-1 format based on where the car finishes in it's class (i.e. the top 6 finishers in class score points).
You are allowed to pick 2 cars from each class, however you cannot pick two of the same car from each class. For example, you cannot choose both Toyota TS040s, but you can choose one Audi R18 and one Toyota TS040. Or one Toyota TS040 and one Porsche 919. Same rules apply in the LMP2 and GT classes. You cannot choose two Ferrari 458s or two Corvette C7.Rs for example. You must include the car make, model, and (most importantly) racing number in your submission.
Bonus: Bonus points can be earned by correctly predicting how many laps will be completed by this year's unclassified Garage 56 entry, the Nissan ZEOD RC. One point will be earned for a prediction that is 15 or fewer laps from the correct answer. Two points will be given to the closest prediction, regardless if it is within 15 laps of the correct answer. If the closest prediction is equal or less than 15 laps from the correct answer, three points (1+2) will be earned.

Good luck.
