2014 Corvette Stingray

This request may seem strange, but I have unable to attain the 2014 corvette stingray from DLC. I would be willing to purchase any 100,000 credit car for trade (probably the easiest option), or I may have some standard cars in my garage I could part with.

Have a look in the Playstation Store 10R, you may have to search for GT5. You should find the Corvette as free DLC.
 
Yeah, I'm not sure what else to say. I'm in the U.S., so there should be no regional issues, I only use one account on my PS3, I've re-installed GT5, and I've contacted support, and their recommendations haven't helped. So if trading is straightforward then its less of a headache at this point.

I've downloaded from both the PS3 store and from account information in the XMB. The downloads even show up as game data on the XMB, in the same area you would find the GT5 install data. But when I go to the download area in the GT5 startup (the red circle with the white arrow), I consistently get a message that no purchased content was found. Am I doing something wrong?
 
Go into the XMB under account management. Try to install it from there, then try the GT5 install data button?
 
Go to "Account Management, System Activation, PS3 System, Game". After that see if you can download the DLC from the playstation store. Or you could create a new account and try to download it again. That would help you figure out if the problem is with your psn acct.

When you click the Red Circle/White arrow, did it ever install the car (in the past) or has it always said 'No Purchased Content'?
 
Nothing has ever installed. This goes for the Corvette prototype and the FR-S as well, but I'm the most upset at not being able to get the Stingray.
 
Sorry, I should have typed 2.10xxxx, meaning I have the most up to date version. Blarg!! Anyway, I've turned this into a hi-jacked thread, sorry!!
 
The dreaded game update strikes again. When will those evil game companies stop trying to keep us away from our beloved DLC?

edit: What, that's not the problem? Oh, so I just typed this for nothing. :(

What region is your game disc? In what country is your PSN account registered?

The region of the disc must match the region of your PSN account for DLC to function. If you're playing with a US disc but your account is registered in Austria, it won't work. If you're playing on a US registered account but your disc is from Japan, it won't work.

As soon as you do this, any GT5 DLC activation keys you've downloaded are wiped.

I thought you only have to reload/install the DLC you already have, DLC is linked to your account not GT5 or whatever, or I'm wrong?
Little bit confusing now.
Certainly when you have the Signature Edition like me and codes are expired by now.
