So the updated World Rankings were announced today, the top three at the World Cup are top three in the World so that's Germany 1st, Argentina 2nd and Netherlands 3rd, Colombia 4th Belgium 5th Uruguay 6th Brazil 7th Spain 8th Switzerland 9th with France finishing of the top 10, Costa Rica climb 12 places to 16th while England fall 10 places to 20th..
 
Ouch. That's too big a fall for England...

Portugal dropped from 4th to 11th. More realistic, but still not enough.
 
Down to 20th sounds about right for me, could've bee worse!
 
Scotland now just six places below them!
 
We are in the exact same spot as the last update, makes sense I suppose!

Can't wait for the Eng vs Sco game in November, last one was a cracker.

Well they're 12th in the Elo rankings. With Mexico just ahead in 11th. :p
 
Croatia is 17th-one above Mexico, despite losing to them :p. Australia meanwhile drops 14 places to 76! :(

Well done to the Dutch and Costa Rica though-up 12 places respectively 👍

As an 'Murican, it feels good to see England below USA in rankings. But it feels even better to see Mexico below us too. :cool:

That's why you should never trust the FIFA Ranking, the formula is there and it is self explanatory but nobody understands how it does work

You know what's funny? I was playing Pro carrer on my FIFA 14 and I was called to play in the Brazil National Squad in the 2014 WC. Exactly on the quarter final, Neymar got injured. :lol:
