I realize I'm quite late, but there has to be a place for me and my fellow germans to discuss :-).
All I have to say is: GO Immortal GO!

And btw: Why do we only have time until 9th of June, when the rest of the world can race until 16th of June

anyone noticed that only 8 players were chosen to go to Silverstone?

(instead of 12...like it was suposed to be...)

From Nissan's Press Release:

"Folgende acht Konsolen-Spieler ziehen in schon knapp drei Wochen weiter in die letzte und entscheidende Runde der GT Academy 2014: Das vom 12.-15. Juli aufgeschlagene Race Camp im „Home of British Motorracing“, Silverstone:
• Danny Giusa (Berlin)
• Marc Gassner (Kempen)
• Ronny Hähnel (Dortmund)
• Marc Wodischek (Baltmannsweiler, Landkreis Esslingen)
• Max Teichert (Köln)
• Tim Bruns (Tuttlingen)
• Felix Piechotka (Wermelskirchen)
• Philipp Schallenberg (Hürtgenwald)"
 
They started the "Racecamp" with 12 people on the nürburgring with tv camara etc.

4 were eliminated there.

You are also not allowed to take part at next years competition if you made it to the top 12 but not to silverstone.

no problem! Just as an information: The Academy guys told me that next year will also be a GT Academy ;) So it would be better to get directly seat time and try to improve! I had the problem that I never sat in any racing car ;)
