It works like this:
A set number of cars is on-track at one time, in a free run setting. These cars will then be given a set amount of time in which to run as many amounts of laps as they wish, and as fast as they can. At the end of the time period, the event organizer(s) will review the lap times of all competing drivers, and rank them based on their times.
During the event, drivers can race by themselves (useful for most circuits), or they can race together (useful for superspeedways/long straights).
The season will use the drivers' placing within each event to give points (1 point for last, 2 points for placing above that, and so on).
Penalties will be awarded for endangering/ruining another drivers' lap time, or by racing against them without their consent (they must agree to be raced against).
This is a race that can be done regardless of lag, opening the door for more participants.
We're now accepting entries for the 2014 season, message me if you are interested.
