Here is the third generation of the Honda Pilot, Honda's full sized SUV. It is bigger and more stylish than any other Pilot so far.

It's a Fusion on GH.

Looks good-- glad they nixed the stick shift on a CVT.

Was going to post a derogatory comment about it looking like a bigger CRV, but somehow the blue one in the pictures above has managed to grow on me within 30 seconds.

Will wait 'till I see one on the road to pass my final judgement.

Huh. 9 Speed as well.

It doesn't look as rugged as the previous generation, but I'll hold off additional comments until it goes in production.

Already arriving on dealer lots in the US, most trims get the 6 speed auto with a ordinary console shifter and the top trim gets the push button 9 speed., many say it looks like the offspring of a CRV and an Odyssey.

I took a look at one at the local Honda dealer this weekend. My short list of vehicles to replace my '05 Pilot got a lot shorter. I quite like the redesign.

The leg room in the back seat is huge compared to mine, which is good because the kids aren't getting any smaller.

We didn't take one for a test drive as they only had two on the lot. One was sold (EX Touring) and the other (LX) wouldn't start. The salesman brought out a battery charger but that was a no-go. Turns out that it was fresh off the truck and the key fob wasn't paired with the vehicle yet. At that point I knew I already liked the layout and was worried that a test drive would lead to me signing papers sooner than I want to.

I've already seen a handful of 2016 Pilots on the road, so I guess people are liking them. Just wondering, are the rear headlights from an Acura TLX?
