Hey guys 5 days until this year's 2 Hours of Daytona. This is 1 of 2 permanent stay races the other being the 2 Hours of Le Mans. This is a 24 hours race cut down into a 2 hour single driver feature. And pays out x2 points. Daytona has a long night portion due to the real race being held only about 5 weeks after winter solstice. Daytona however track is well lit. All dry tires are required for this race. I recommend using softs during the night. Good luck with your strategies. See you Saturday.

I already scheduled around holidays, major real world races, and known personal events. I can't schedule for everything.

Plus you should old enough to know how theses choices play out. If you choose to watch the game. You team will lose in a embarrassing manner. If you choose run the race. Your team will win in one of best games in league history. So you good luck with your decision.

I created a flexible points system this season that adjusts intervals based on how many players start the race for your class. You actually only scored 2 points for your position. With bonuses points for pole and fastest lap.

I'll try but, can't make promises. For record this league does effect me too. I'm likely missing NASCAR qualifying races for Clash in 2 weeks. Since they moved the qualifying races to accommodate thr NASCAR Mexico series on Sunday.

Hey guys a reminder that the poseponed round 2 at Dragon Trail Gardens Reverse is this Saturday. Make sure you have rain tires. Also a regulation reminder. I ask the Gr.3 class to run yellow light covers. To make quick mirror identification easier in low light conditions. It can be done without changing the base livery. This will be enforced at Spa and Le Mans races. As they will get fully dark.
 
Hey guys about a day and a half until rescheduled 1 Hour of Dragon Trail Gardens Reverse. While it is my plan to host this weekend. However I most give an update. Our cat was diagnosed with lung cancer on January 9th. At her age she was already too far a long to treat at that time. Even with frequent vet checkups to try to keep her as comfortable as possible. I must unfortunately report that she has deteriorated very quickly over the past few weeks. And will likely pass away soon. I can't know promise I will be in condition to host if she passes before our race this Saturday. I will try my best to give a heads up if possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

If I get no surprises. I should be open in about 11 hours 20 minutes. I apologize to those who wish to watch the 24 hours of Daytona. This was originally scheduled to be an off week but, served as a postponement date. Of which I to use for the poseponed round 2 1 Hour of Dragon Trail Gardens Reverse. Originally scheduled for January 13th. It's a shorter race tonight so hopefully the IMSA pros behave during our race time.
 
Still nothing, router flashed on like it was back but lights went back out after a minute or 2.
Don't wait on me, if it comes back I will let you know, it takes about 10 minutes for it to get everything back on line. If it starts up I will let you know right away.

Hey thanks for the interest. You are free change your car up until your 1st start. Car changes after come with a penalty unless given special permission. I'm not exactly sure your preference suggest anything. I recommend you look over this seasons race schedule which can be found in post 2. And pick a car you think would run well at a majority of the races.
 
Hey guys after a long internal debate. I have decided to remove the tuning restrictions from round 5 Daytona 200 Miles. The cars have different top speeds and fuel ranges either way. I also changed the starting time of day from sunset to evening. It should still get dark. Just later into the race.

Enough about next week. This week is a stop at a reconfigured Gran Turismo classic reverse layout. I personally feel the new layout of Grand Valley allows for more passing opportunities in the reverse layout. At least for the long course.
