In general I think RedBull hasnt been able to build a competitive enough car for this and last season, and for that reason they have had to rely more and more on Verstappens exeptional talent and unique driving style - making the car harder and harder for any other driver in the process. They really need to "reset" to more team friendly car in 2026.
That seems to be the root of the issue, which is the RB21. Apparently the problems have started with last year‘s car but like you said, have been disguised by Max Verstappen‘s exceptional skill level.

Alex Albon‘s comments regarding how small the RB‘s window of performance is are probably true. I saw a performance comparison between Max and Liam from the last two GP‘s and it was evident that Liam was significantly slower at the exit of a corner, like he was scared of the car oversteering.

That's a very nice livery!! I like the simplicity but still very striking! Well done to whomever at red bull who designed this!!
It looks amazing, indeed! A really nice throwback to Honda’s RA272.

I‘m definitely going to recreate it later today in GT7 once I‘m home from work.

Imagine making a really great livery and then turning around and being like APRIL FOOLS we tricked ya.

Former F1 Driver Guido van der Garde posted an Instagram article last week that was extremely critical of Red Bull's driver switch, calling it a 'panic action' and 'bullying'. Many noticed that Verstappen liked the post. Today Verstappen confirmed that was deliberate (and of course that's all he's going to say about it).

If your top driver is saying 'this is a bad move, fix the damn car', that's a thing, no?

Probably Aston. I can‘t imagine Mercedes letting go either Kimi or George.
Depends on the season they have, George is out of contract at the end of the year so wouldn't cost them anything.

Aston is more likely, but both are on the table.

Netflix and the DTS people would love a Max & George lineup.

If it was AM I guess Fernando would get the shove, especially if Lance continues his improved form of this early season.

Most likely, yes! Verstappen and Adrian Newey back together would have great potential!

I honestly think Max should leave Red Bull (Assuming he doesn't decide to leave F1, which he has plenty reason to). The fact this team is now ignoring him (The guy that is literally the only reason they even have any shot) ontop of all the other crap going on internally is just unacceptable.

Your 4x championship driver should not have to carry your piece of crap car because you continually ignoring at this point ANY driver's feedback about it, including his.

They're a team in crisis and it wouldn't shock me if he gets a deal done early elsewhere and shakes them to the core.

From there, I have absolutely no idea what they would do. Horner and Helmet would surely have to go, I couldn't see how they'd survive that, it's amazing they've lasted this long to be honest. I also think to attract top drivers into the team in the absence of Verstappen, they would have to go, no one would willingly go under them right now.

Take them out of the equation and it would perhaps set Carlos Sainz up to return alongside Tsunoda or Lawson.

Verstappen to Aston Martin Honda with a Newey designed new reg car alongside Lance Stroll with Alonso finally bowing out.

Sainz to Red Bull alongside whoever remains, probably Tsunoda. Colapinto to Williams assuming he doesn't jump into Alpine this season, in which case Bottas to Williams. Perez to Cadillac with Jak Crawford if Bottas goes to Williams, Bottas if he doesn't.

Red Bull's disintegration resulting in Alonso losing his seat just as he's about to get a Newey car is the most Fernando Alonso thing that could happen.
But is a Newey car really that great or has Max's driving made it look that good?

The 12 championships and 200+ Grand Prix wins for all Newey-designed cars makes me lean slightly toward him. 7 different WDCs suggest he’s quite good at tailoring the car to the pilot’s skills - either that or he makes them so good that anyone could drive it, in which case prepare for the Era of Lance.

This is not to do a disservice to Max who is also phenomenal.

The enthusiasm of the commentators say "World Championship Leader-" every time the said Lando's name since the first race leaves no doubt who the championship favorite is... besides Fl is more about hype and sensationalism than anything else these days, Max is the most hyped driver in history since he was "son of F1 racer, youngest driver to..."

Also it was just luck of puddles in Australia which McLaren stopped spinning on the track and Piastri could easily have 23 more points at this stage... but the points is what the points is, and the championship is just the total of all the races. It is still very early in the championship as there are so many races this year so it could likely any of the top 3 could win the title and still an outside chance if Merc or Ferrari make some magic upgrades that George or Lec could become factors...

Max was so upset with losing the last race, I am expecting him to go full precocious brat mode sometime in the next few races and completely ruin at least one other drivers race with a stupid move - he will probably "be ahead at the apex" or something so it will be legally ok - it's probably just going to be luck which driver cops it.

I mean...Piastri does actually have a solid shot at the title. Pound-for-pound, I would definitely say Norris is faster, but he seems to be having a little bit of an issue extracting the last tiny bit of performance out of the MCL39, and that's causing him issues in his own head (which is quite unfortunate to see). Piastri, while not as fast as Norris, is still pretty close, and has shown remarkable consistency so far, while maintaining his signature cool demeanor. If Norris continues to have issues, then Piastri won't be far behind, and may even be able to get the jump on Norris here or there as the season continues.

The way I see it, this year's WDC is going to be a battle between Norris (who I personally think will take it), Piastri, Max, and quite possibly Russell. Russell's been doing good work with the W16 this year, earning 3 podiums in 5 races. If Max or the Mclarens have any issues during any of the remaining GPs, I'm pretty confident Russell will jump on that in no time at all. With Max, he's clearly capable of dragging the RB21 into solid finishes, but I don't think his skill will be enough this time around.
