Max has broken the GT3 lap record on the Nordschleife during an anonymous test in a Ferrari 296 GT3 last week.

No, that was Franz Hermann. Totally different person.

I don't usually wish failure on drivers, but hopefully Colapinto is an absolute bust so his revolting fanbase will leave the sport. The amount of abuse directed towards Doohan and family was despicable, and now Tsunoda is getting a load of racist abuse because of a minor incident in free practice.

First the Canapino guy in Indycar (Granted he was actually stoking those fires in addition to being a miserable Human being), now Colapinto. I don't want to make an assumptions so instead I've made an observation: That's TWO Argentine drivers with some seriously toxic and potentially psychotic fans (They make the typical F1 fanboys look sane). It's not much, but it's not the prettiest set of Dollars I've held so far.

I will never understand a bunch of (physically) grown men gettting this emotional over their favorite athletes. I‘m a big UFC fan too and quite a few MMA fans are just as bad, unfortunately.

Same with golf incredibly. It's a very sad state of affairs and isn't going to change anytime soon. Ruins the enjoyment of chatting about the sport.

You know folks, Alpine is looking alot like they did as Lotus in 2015

  • Questions over finances
  • Revolving door of leadership
  • Mercedes Power
  • A South American driver with sponsorship money who's pace is there but so is his habit of crunching cars.
  • A Frenchman who's having to carry the team on his back.

This pretty much confirms that if Max DOES get that race ban, one of the Racing Bulls drivers will jump up to drive Max's seat and Lindblad takes their vacated Racing Bulls seat.

I would assume Hadjar since he's doing well & Horner has spoken highly of him.

If anything, this seems at least indicative we're going to see another case of Red Bull chewing up a 2nd driver.

And should that scenario happen, we'll truly get the best picture of how awful that Red Bull is without Max in the picture. If anything, maybe that race ban will just cement Max's desire to leave F1 (Which is already not too difficult to imagine considering Red Bull aren't exactly giving him a championship contending car on a regular basis even with that new directive in place).
