Aww, sad news. Self inflicted gun shot. Oof. I only heard of him on the field, which, in the NFL speaks volumes to someone potential character. T&P.

BIG TRADE ALERT - Baltimore Ravens aquire Raiders DE Maxx Crosby for two first round picks ( 26, 27 )
Uhm, raise your hand if you are glad you aren't in the AFC North.

Panthers get some serious pass rush/linebacker help, finally. I like it but it's a huge load of money for a dude who's had some injuries though.

Edit: Devin Lloyd too? 👀

Just need a Free Safety and a Center to replace Cade Mays and we're talking.

Lol such a Raiders thing to happen:

And I would not be surprised if Detroit trades for him because if there's one thing Brad Holmes loves it's an injured player.

I follow two guys on YouTube that cover the Eagles and the chats tonight during their streams were going absolutely nuts. A lot of us are begging our GM Howie Roseman to get on the phone with the Raiders.

Meanwhile we signed former Seahawks CB Tariq Woolen to a 1 year contract that can be worth up to $15 million. Now we finally have a good cornerback opposite Quinyon Mitchell.

Sounds like the Ravens might have got cold feet after losing a bunch of players in FA and suddenly realizing that they are going to need the 1st round picks, they were going to give to the Raiders. Fact that they got the deal done so quickly for Trey Hendrickson seems quite shady.

I thought he didn't pass the physical? Is that not the case?

Yeah that's the excuse. He had surgery in January and is currently rehabbing. This was known before free agency & the Ravens spoke to his surgeon.

They just changed their mind for some reason. Maybe they thought cash only for Hendrickson was a better deal. Maybe they got annoyed because the Raiders used the Crosby savings to pinch their center with an over-market-value FA offer. Who knows. They just look really bad now, and other teams won't be jumping to deal with them.

Very much a win-now move for the Bengals and their 90 year old owner. Giants should be ecstatic to get the 10th pick. I'm not happy, the AFC North keeps getting tougher for my poor Steelers and our geriatric QB (who hasn't publically re-signed but everyone knows he's coming back).

As a hometown draft it’ll be very boring & unpopular when the Steelers pick a guard (or yet another OT) in round 1

You don't think they are going to get Ty Simpson at 21? Or grab Saadiq ifhe is available?

Based on McCarthy’s history and comments I don’t think Simpson is what they are looking for in an outdoor game QB. Beck or Aller are more likely in round 3.

I could see them going for a WR like Makai Lemon if he’s on the board, but with big questions at LT and LG I think that’s probably where the pick is going.

If they are looking for an outdoor QB Beck ain't it. Allar is a Monet type player looks good from far away and certain angles but up close not so much. He has a great arm and is a good athlete but that;s all. Maybe MCarthy can get the best out of him. We'll see

I still know next to nothing about college football. However, I desperately want either (or both ideally) Dillon Thieneman or Jacob Rodriguez in Panthers blue.

Doubt Thieneman even makes to #19 though. Judging by the Vikings needing a safety and having the #18 pick.

You might be able to trade back and still get Rodriguez. Most of the mocks I’ve seen have him going early 2nd round, maybe the very end of the 1st.

Panthers aren't picking until #51st pick in the 2nd. It might considered a reach but I wouldn't mind at all them grabbing him at #19 if Thieneman isn't there. A lot of mocks have the Panthers taking a WR (again) in the 1st. O-Line depth is needed too. Going to be intriguing to see what they do.

My impossible dream for the Steelers is Caleb Downs (I think we have enough surplus picks to get up to around #12 but that won’t be enough). Hope is Makai Lemon. Expectation is all the good WRs and OLs will be gone and we’ll switch to a DB like Chris Johnson or Emmanuel Mcneil-Warren, someone on their pre-draft visit list.

Arvell Reese over Sonny Styles? No. That just tells me we are gonna unload someone like Kayvon. I was also hoping for Caleb Downs.

Francis Mauigoa is a solid pick, I'll never complain about early O Line picks. He and Andrew Thomas could lock down the exterior of the O Line as maybe the best in the league (in a year or two once he adjusts to the NFL). That could work great if it means it can open up our TEs as catchers over blockers by necessity.

Ah man. Really wanted Thieneman but I'm not too upset with O-line depth though. Panthers do need to get cheaper in those positions.

Damn the Eagles. Oh well.

A project tackle but if they can coach him up properly he could be very good.
Seems odd not to trade up with so many picks, they must have lots of targets on day 2 to secure.

yeah sorry about that.

if it makes you feel any better I'm not really happy with that pick. I wouldve rather had that Safety from Oregon. Eagles have 3 picks tomorrow so we still need safety, tight end, O line help, and edge.

@kjb. How are you feeling about the Jets after this? Super aggressive trading back into the 1st rd to get Cooper Jr. Feels like a step in the right direction though. The WR/TE stocks seem pretty good over there now.

I am ecstatic! I love the Bailey pick. He has been more productive over entire career than Reese and TBH after watched Reese in a couple of games and wasn't too impressed. I was surprised by the Saadiq pick but it will allow to do 12 & 11 personnel without substituting. Cooper is a good pic as well. I am hoping they can get OSU DT at 44 or McCoy. Or between, Hill, Allen or Rodriguez at LB
