Who Is That Jeremy Renner GIF by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Me when the Lions made their pick. Granted, I don't really watch or care about college football, but I hadn't heard anything about that kid being picked by Detroit. He seems fine and it addresses a need, but it seems kind of boring. I wish the Lions had gotten an edge rusher, though, because we need that desperately.

I am ecstatic! I love the Bailey pick. He has been more productive over entire career than Reese and TBH after watched Reese in a couple of games and wasn't too impressed. I was surprised by the Saadiq pick but it will allow to do 12 & 11 personnel without substituting. Cooper is a good pic as well. I am hoping they can get OSU DT at 44 or McCoy. Or between, Hill, Allen or Rodriguez at LB
Sadiq is a beast, he will do well. I still wish we took Styles over Reese 🥲

Well you know Reese is the "best" player in the draft and you can' t pass on someone like that. Even though Styles is just as good if not better than Reese. He can actually cover. I hope Reese does well but I think he is a tad overrated. I think too many pundits didn't think Micah Parsons was going to be as good as he is so they see someone with a similar profile and they say he is a generational type talent. Reese didn't pop to me like Parsons did. Also he did not force any fumbles while Parson forced 6 his last year at Penn State. Right now he is a highly athletic tweener who can do a lot of things. The Giants intend to play him at MLB but he needs better coverage skills.

Also I like the Panthers get Freeling. I know they have Walker to start in the place of Ike but Moton is getting long in the tooth so it gives depth. I do believe if the Jets didn't take Saadiq the Panthers would have grabbed him. Hopefully they can get a wr in the 2nd or the one of safeties Warren & Stukes.
Panthers O-Line is the most expensive (or one of) in the league. I can see major shake up with it in the next year or two, with as you say Moton getting into the back end of his career and Ickey's injury. Freeling wasn't the sexy pick but long term, it does make the most sense.

And as much as I do want Rodriguez. Panthers will have to give up a bit to move up in the 2nd to grab him. Give me a safety, nickel and some more O-Line depth. Another receiver would be nice too but honestly I don't think it's as a big need as people are making it out to be. As long as T-Mac and Coker stay healthy that is. lol

Well, none of those things happened today. And they picked up a receiver too.

Stoked with the Lee Hunter pick though. A big unit to put alongside Derrick Brown. Teams aren't going to be able to double team DB and Jaelan Phillips coming off the edge at the same time. D-Line is going to be nasty. 👀

In two minds with the Brazzell pick. He does bring the speed and YAC which the Panthers are sorely missing but this probably means the end of Xavier Legette and I was rooting for him this year to finally figure things out. Best to try and trade him now, while he still has some value with the 5th year option.
