Oh that's cool. When you were in BC did you ever go through Crow's Nest Pass? It's pretty hick-ish up there but the scenery and driving routes are great. If you went past the Frank Slide you'll always remember that place.

For those of you who don't know:

The Frank Slide (named after the town "Frank" it demolished) was a horrible landslide of massive boulders that rolled down the side of a mountain, destroying a small town about a hundred years ago. There were 3 survivors.

No, I don't think I was in the Frank Slide area. I edited my previous post - https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showpost.php?p=1398891&postcount=60 - I can talk a little bit more about where I went. I started out by flying into Seattle. Went around the Puget Sound to Port Angles, sp?, and took a ferry to Victoria Island the next morning. There we went to Burchart Gardens, and then to Nanaimo, sp?, where we stayed in a Bed & Breakfast on a lake. The next morning we took a ferry from Victoria Island to the mainland of BC. From there we went to Whistler, where we stayed for like 11 days. We then drove back toward Seattle, stopping in Everett, Washington, to tour the Boeing Everett Site. We stayed overnight in Seattle and flew out the next morning. This is pretty close, but I don't remember the exact number of days and all of the places we went.

The dude only had to pay $115.00 according to the ticket. That's wrong.

I believe the $115 posted on that ticket was for bike relocation charges, due to the man being immediately arrested. Since that was a mere 30 miles west of my house, I heard of it quite quickly. The ticket total ended up being nearly $2,200 US.

Some guy from Hearland, which is several miles down the highway from me, was picked up for going 145 mph near the Kenosha County and Racine County border. He was going 145 mph when the speed limit on Wisconsin interstate highways is 65 mph. Most people speed here, but not usually far over 80 mph. He was in his Subaru WRX - Turbo Charged. He was fined for speeding and wreckless driving.

Anyone want to guess where I live? Can you say Hartland? Did I know Tim? Well, we did go to the same High School.

You said you lived thirty miles from where the bike incident happened. That happened in Minnesota.

You live in Hartland, Wisconsin or Hartland, Minnesota. It must be Wisconsin because in some Christmas thread you said you where in Brookfield at the time of the Mayfair Mall incident or something. I live about 9 miles down Highway 16-West from you, if you live in Hartland, Wisconsin. I don't know this guy at all, even if I do live near Hartland, Wisconsin.

Was Tim in the same grade as you?

There isn't an "e" in Hartland, bud. Go lookup 53029, as a zip code. Anywho, I was in Brookfield during the whole Mayfair suicide massacre. :D

Tim is a year older than me, and that Sube' was white with some aftermarket black rims. I can't remember all the stats, due to it being like 3 years since I've talked with him, but it's insanely sweet.

So, you live in/near Oconomowoc, correct?

PS. We have a place out west which is within 30 miles of Minnesota. I hate that place, but we were there for that week.
