So here we are finally I`ll take it on the famous "24 Heures du Mans" my car of choice is the mighty Toyota GT-ONE (ts020). I will try to accomplish what the real car didn't, to win this famous Race on the first try.

When my team arrived at the track the conditions where more suited for a offshore-race than for a endurance race with LMP'S
the track was full wet

First stint
Start - L14

I managed to get into lead on the second Lap and my first tiresset lasted 8 Laps fastest Lap Time so far 4:03.302 on L9
L11 - New best Lap 4:01.490
L12 - Lapped the 12th placed Dodge Vipre for the first time just before Arnage.
L13 - Lapped 11th place Viper just after dunlop chicane.
L14 - Second stop for new rain tires and 60 liters of fuel -game saved

Sounds good, keep us updated. I'm doing this race right now in the Peugeot 908. I also started at 100% wet track, and 5+ hours in it is now dark and still pouring rain. I'm running Racing Intermediate tires. What are you on?

I just entered the pits at the end of lap 80 (10 lap stints) right behind the Speed 8. I should exit the pits in front of him and be up 2 laps. My fastest lap is a 3:54.

The AI is mostly doing 13-14 lap stints, so they are doing 3 stops for my 4. Pretty fun but I have no idea what's going to happen once (if) the rain stops.
 
Good luck!!! This is by far my favourite race of the enduros!!! Enjoy it..plenty time to think...long straights....the magic of daybreak!!!!👍
 
Good luck on this - plan to do it myself in the next 24 hours myself but without hairdresser saves.

Lotta people go through life doing things badly. Racing's important to men who do it well. When you're racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.

RACE UPDATE
after I resumed the saved Race it stopped raining

Stint 2 L15 - L75

L15 - changing to intermidate tires and took 50 Liters of Fuel
L16 - New Best Lap 3:45.940 My lead is now 41 secs. -Track wettnes lovered by 27 % , wettnes now at 73%
L17 - Lapped the McLaren just before Mulsanne, New Lap Record 3:42.810
L21 - Dropped to 5th due to overshot rear tires and 3 or 4 major faults in the last sector :(
L22 - Now I'm 1:47 behind the Leader, dam i need now some dry time to catch back up.
L23 - back in 2nd now (+25 secs.) due to AI's pitstops Improved best Lap to 3:33.435
L28 - time for another set of racing hards and some fuel in 5th again

L30 - New Fastest Lap 3:32.848
L34 - time for new race hards and some fuel now in 4th place ( took 3rd on pit road )
L35 - Took 2nd (the Bentley Pitted) now 57 secs behind Leader , and Lapped my teammate aka the second GT-ONE in the grid.
L40 - on Pit road again for tires and fuel dropped back to 5th
L41 - New Fastest Lap 3:31.327
L45 - Took 3rd (Pitstops)
L46 - Pitstop for race hards and 45 L of Fuel (took 2nd from the bentley also on Pit Road )

L49 - Lost 2nd to the #4 Audi due to 2 spins
L52 - Pitstop time agaion back in 5th
L54 - Took 4th again, best lap is now 3:30.897
L57 - Time for new race hards and some 55 Liters
L58 - Took 2nd place (from the Audi #4)

Standings after 4 Hours / 62 Laps

1. Young Audi R8 #8 62 Laps

L63 - on pit Road again leaving pit road in 5th place changed now to RM on front and RH on rear)
L64 - New best Lap 3:29.807
L68 - in 2nd again (kinda running between 2nd and 5th all the time due to pit stops) pitstop is comming up by the end of this lap (I kinda wish it should rain again so i could close the gap to the #8 Audi faster)
L69 - Time for fresh rubber again and some Fuel (the tracklights went on this Lap, the sun is nearly gone now, nice atmoshere :) )
L70 - Took 2nd place from the Audi #4 again now 2:23.xxx behind the Leader.
L72 - Headlights went on on the Mulsanne
L75 - Time for another load of Fuel and some fresh rubber -Game Saved

Back With more Updates from Le Mans
Race Resumed on Lap 75 / 4 H 48 mins after the start

Stint 3 L75 - L139

L75 - Leaving Pit road in 5th place.
L77 - Back In 4th now, the Leading Audi #8 nearly lapping me :(
L78 - Passing the 5 hour Mark / Passed the #4 Audi for 3rd place
L81 - Entering Pit Road 2:11 behind the leading Audi #8 in 2nd Place / its completely dark now it was a very nice expirience driving into the darkness, but now the real race begins during the aprox 7 - 8 Hours of darkness, well see how the standings are at dawn.
L84 - Passing the #4 Audi for second in the braking zone of the 1st Ford chicane. Now +2:47 behind the #8 Audi
L88 - Running now in 4th, & dropped out of the lead lap :( Realy hoping for some rain now.
L89 - New Lap Record 3:29.528, Passing the Bentley #7 for second place, +2:10 behind the Leader.
L93 - On Pit Road again, looking better now closing the gap slowly

L115 - pitting again changin now to Race meds all around (worked out quite well run this stint with an avg of under 3:30 mins / Lap
L120 - in Pits changing to RS on Fronts and RM on rear, 45 Liter of fuel +2:52 to leading car
L122 - New fastest Lap 3:26.857, now staying in 2nd place even after the Pit Stops.
L125 - Now thinking I should have done the swich to a softer compund way earlier, now it will be a realy tough fight. now +2:20 behind the Audi #7

L139 - diving into pit road again, Had an bigger off @ indianapolis lost bout 20 secs. game saved

L140 - the track starting to get wet now so things will get intersting i think.
L142 - changing to intermidate tires on next Pit stop

L149 - track wetnes now @ 50% my average lap time dropped to ~3:40 +2:05 beind the leader
L154 - it keeps raining track wettnes now @ 80 % changing to full wets and topping the tank up 90 liters 2:08 behind the leader.

L157 - the driving getting realy tough now dark and 100% wetnes easy for making mistakes average Lap times now aound 4:05 minutes
L166 - Now 1 Lap ahead of the Bentley on P3, getting used to the conditions and impooving lap times now avg laps around the 3:50 mark
L169 - now less than 50 seconds behind the Audi, but another stopp is comming up next Lap
L171 - stopping for new intermidates and 95 Liter of Fuel +25 seconds to the Audi

L177 - It is on now the fight for the Lead in this race i`m 25 secs behind but closing the gap 2 -3 secs each sector expecting in about 30 mins to have daylight again.
L179 - Made the pass for the Lead, Audi #8 Pitted, so after 11 hours 27 minutes we got a new Leader
Toyota GT-ONE #3
L181 - Leading now by 1:21
L183 - Pitting for new tires and 91 Liters 1:45 ahead of the Audi #8, I made a misstake by missing the braking point for the 1 chicane and plowed trough the sand trap, the Audi is now right on my Back.

L195 - filling up and taking new tires now 3:30 ahead of the Audi #8
L198 - the night beeing soon over daylight brakes in slowly will make the driving a bit easier, 2:47 ahead of the Audi #8 now

took about 2 hours break and watched a movie :)

L201 - another major point in this Race 1 hour after halftime the 200 Laps are complete its still raining like no tomorow hope it stays that way. Leading now by nearly a full Lap.
L204 - Leading now by 1 Lap, as the 2nd placed Audi #8 is on pit road.
L206 - pitting for tires and fuel -Game Saved

I must say that the weather conditions worked out in my favor, in the 6 hours of dry track the Audi was faster and if it would stay dry noway I could win this one.

L211 - the darkness is now completely gone, I didn't belive it but you sure turn the fastest lap times at night in dry conditions.

L216 - I take the upper hand seems like, now leading by aprox 1,5 Laps over the #8 Audi who is still 2nd.
but when it stopps raining that will change everything.
L218 - Leading now by 2 Laps, as the Audi #8 pitted, but my stop is comming up aswell this Lap
L219 - the #8 Audi gained a Lap back due to my pitstop.
L221 - the #51 Viper send me into a spin @ Tetre rouge lost aprox 15 secs.
L224 - the Audi is now 2 Laps down again passed him right after the Dunlop bridge

Stint 6 L231 - L254

Race Resumed on Lap 231

L234 - was to early on the Gas and made a 360 exiting the first chicane on the Mulsane straight.
L235 - trying to push now real hard to see what Lap time is possible on wet track.
L236 - Best Wet time so far 3:46.561.
L243 - Leading now by 3 Laps over the #8 Audi, pitstop is comming up end of this Lap
L244 - Pulled out a 13 Lap Stint now entered pitroad with 1 liter left in the tank 👍
L245 - Missed by millimeters the courage who was driving very slowly down the musanne straight, that was a realy BIG moment.

L247 - had a big one just before the first Porsche curve ran into that slow courage that I lapped before on the musanne which sended me and him into a spin which ended in the guarrail after i turned my car the right way and accelerated again, i got rammed by the R10 TDI which caused another spin aprox 30 - 40 secs lost
L251 - Lapped the Audi again he is now 3 laps down (due to pitstop he gained a lap again, and D.Kubo dropped out of the top, 5 H. Wall is now in 5th place).
L254 -Time for another Pitstop (this stint was a bit shorter that usual need to get up tomorow early for work :( ) -Game Saved

Certainly did get the quote from that amazing film - no CGI silly stuff. Do you as Germans feel Erich Stahler got run of the road by Delany (McQueen) - on the final lap.

What a film - no naff music drowning out those V12's- (Okay the Porsche is a Flat 12) no girly dialogue - Shame Maison Blanche isn't in the modern LeMans lay out.

it becommes light shorly after halftime but it takes another hour or so before the darkness is completely gone

L260 - I can still increase my lead slowlym and its intersting to see how 2nd and 3rd place is changing all the time due to pitstop strategy.

L270 - Had a Spin exiting the Dunlop chicane (to early on the gas), Bentley Took 3rd from the Audi #4 again.
L273 - Had a spin again @ Maison Blanche, Audi #4 took 2nd place back.

L290 - 5 Hours to go ,I`m taking as less risk as possible to bring it home now, I noticed that the brakes are going to fade a bit but that can only bee my imagination.
L292 - had a spin entering the mulsanne then got hit by a backmarker which send me another one or two times around :(
L293 - Entered Pit road for another time with 4 Hours 45 minutes to go I saved the game

Race Resumed Lap 305

L308 - Lapped the Audi #7 again so hes now 5 Laps down. Car is dooing good sofar with less then 4 hours to go I`m pretty conident now,, cuz as of now its just cruising to the flag taking no rosk at all.
L312 - Had a slight off at the entry of tetre rouge, but nothing realy major, lapping now around 3:49 to 3:52 laptimes.
L317 -Time for fuel and fresh tires again.

L323 - Had a spin at mulsannes corner but nothing serious, It looks like it stays wet till the end now.
L324 - Had another spin @ the exit of the second chicane on the mulsanne with slight wall contact. was to early on the thotle.
L326 - Lapped the Audi #7 again hes is now 6 Laps behind, looks like he gave up to fight for the lead to me.
L329 - Audi #4 and Bentley #8 switched positions again The Audi is now running in 3rd and the Bentley in 4th.
L331 - with 2 hours 15 mins remaining in the race i make my 3rd last stop for tires and fuel.
L332 - The Bentley took 3rd place back.

L337 - Had a spin with wall contact at the exit of the first musanne straight chicane.
L340 - spun at the exit of mulsannes corner and got missed by the CLK-LM only by inches cuz he was running right behind me.
L343 - with 1 hour 27 mins on the clock making my 2nd last Stop for Tires and fuel.
L345 - lapped the 2nd placed Audi #7 again he is now 7 Laps behind.

L349 - Nearly there now, the countdown timer apeared in the middle of the mulsanne straight in Reight bottdom corner.
L355 - 39 minutes before the flag I make my final stop and now I can cruise easily to Victory Lane.
On a Sidenote the Pitroad is full of people now so i have to drive realy carefully trought it.
L358 - 24 minutes to go now trying to find my teammate on the track. to make a nice picture at start finish line.
L363 - With 6 minutes to go It sounds out of the intercom "2 Laps to go, don't mess it up now"
L364 - My crew chief is on the interkom again he shouts out of happines " FINAL LAP, FINAL LAP, COME ON NOW"
L365 - TAKING THE FLAG FOR THE VICTORY!
