Just wondering what sort of opposition you get in these races. I have a fair few levels to go but want to plan ahead and get the best possible tune for my chosen car.

Typical opponent list with bhp and weight would be ideal, but any info is appreciated.

Thanks in advance :)

24 Hours of Le Mans:

Pescarolo C60 Hybride – Judd : 905HP : 900kg (aka "The Rabbit". If you want a fun race overall, keep re-enter the race until this guy is not on the grid)
Pescarolo Courage – Judd GV 5 : 794HP : 900kg
Nissan R390 GT1 : 789HP : 1000kg
Pescarolo Sport Courage C60 – Peugeot : 789HP : 900kg
Audi R8 Race Car (Audi PlayStation Team ORECA) : 789HP : 950kg
BMW V12 LMR : 787HP : 900kg
AMG Mercedes CLK-GTR : 785HP : 1000kg
Bentley Speed 8 : 785HP : 900kg
Audi R8 Race Car '01 : 783HP : 900kg
Toyota GT-One : 765HP : 900kg
Audi R10 : 649HP : 925kg
BMW McLaren F1 : 603HP : 950kg

There is a couple of Dodge Vipers as well. Team oreco, I think. These two are always 20 laps behind everybody else, poor old them.

24h Nurburgring I haven't yet unlocked but the image in game shows a 787B, which is a shame. In real life the 24h cars are more like the ones in the in game 4h race.

Audi R8 Race Car '01 : 783HP : 900kg <--- This is the Car that'll keep you on your toes out of all the AI Cars its allways the Fastest

The C60's don't handle aswell and they use more Fuel .

I simply bought the Audi R8 '01 from the UCD and Rebuilt it , then Upgraded it with the Stage 3 turbo . Result was 907 BHP 👍

Playstation R8 Version is slower as its 50 kgs heavier or 110 Lbs , thats a lot of Extra weight , maybe the PS logo's are heavier

Hope you don't mind an IOU as getting a cookie to you across the internet would be a feat in itself.

On a serious note, thanks for all the replies. Its going to be tougher to find a car I will enjoy for so long in that category but at least now I know what I'm up against. 👍

If you use a Formula GT you could end up WAY ahead of the competition in the 24 hrs races.. but its kind of unfair on the AI opponents. You have to feel for them.

In B-spec, the 24 hrs Le Mans can have up to 3 drivers and the 24 hrs Nurburgring can have up to 4 drivers

Doesn't need 3 and 4.
Has a maximum of 3 and 4.

so, there´s only LMS cars like the c60/787b etc. in the 24h nur race? that´d be just stupid :(

I'm on my 2nd attempt of Le Mans.
I was 10hrs into the 1st, when I bumped a circuit breaker
while doing some repairs. Result 10hrs lost.
Time to invest in a battery backup :dunce:
Anyway, if you run a fully built 908, there is no competition.
The R8 is the fastest of the AI's, but 3hr's into the race, I'm
+1 lap on it.
I'm on softs, it appears he's on hards.
I'm doing 3:25's consistently getting 7 laps before pitting.
He's doing :38's pitting @ 12.
I've got to say running @ night has really helped me pick up better
braking markers. I was only off by a second in the dark.
That was due to me being cautious, as if you get a tire off in
the wrong place, you're crashing losing lots of time.

Well there are only 12 cars on the grid, not up to 40 like real races so no multi-class racing, no. It'd be good to be able to enter the race in a GT car and still be classed as winning it, if you were first in your class.

I remember a Blitz Skyline on the grid when I did the 24h of Nurb. Though, the main contenders where 2 Le Mans protos.

Yeah; I'd LOVE it if they introduced multi-class racing into GT5. They were able to do that in GRID; I don't see any reason why they can't do that here.

(Oh, and GRID's "24 hours of LeMans" was a mere 20 minutes. Hah!)
