Hours 0-2
It was a relatively uneventful start. My driver made a powerhouse move around the Judd and held off the monster going into the chicanes. Lap 2 and we were battling with the Pescalaro Peugoet for 4th. Fast forward one more lap and we'll go to a pretty intersting moment going into Mulsanne's Corner, as my team's R8 was aproaching the Bentley and the other Audi Oreca, who were side by side. My Audi Oreca made contact with the other Audi Oreca while trying to make an agressive 3-wide pass, sending the other Audi sideways. He manages to save it without loosing time on the Bentley.
~radio tranmission: Other Audi Oreca~
Driver: WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?! IT"S ONLY THE FIRST 15 MINUTES INTO A 24 HOUR RACE!
Manager: I know. That whole team is full of hotheads.
~radio transmission: K9_Racing~
Me: 2 Wide, Bentley and Audi. Overtake to the right if possible.
P. Schneider: Ok
*contact occours*
P. Schneider: Tell the crew's Audi that I didn't mean to touch him.
Me: Ok.

It would show that most of the leading cars could make it 5 laps on tires, with exception to to the Judd, which only made it on 4. It also whoed that it would Be an R8 vs. Judd vs. benley Battle, and Peugoet vs. Toyota battle, and that the CLK-LM, the F1 GTR, the R10, and the Vipers would be the race's outcasts.

It would be uneventful for the next number of laps, only things occouring would be the failing pit strategy of the Benley and the #51 Viper holding up the leader 30 minutes into the race, and the yoyo in distance between the 2001 Audi and my 2005 Audi, going from as slim as 6 second to as wide as 13, usually being 8 seconds.

1 hour 54 minutes into the race and the #2 Audi R8 is 6 seconds behind Le Mans rookie John Johansson.

More to come as I go to bed, hoping for rain when I awake in 6 hours. If not, my team is scrwed if it goes from dry to wet to dry in the 6-8 hours of rest I need personally.

Back with you now on K9TV and HOWL to provide you continious coverage from now to the finish! The running order and conditions the same, given exception to the Pescarolo Peugoet and the Toyota GT-One, but it wasn't always like that. Let's recap.
-
2 hours after I left you, the 2001 #2 Audi R8 Team Joest took the lead from the first of the two Oreca R8s. THe First Oreca R8 fell behind to over 3 1/2 minutes behind the leader before Theam manager of K9 Racing C. Morris decided that it was time to start pushing the drivers at hour 8. At 8 1/2 hours, the very same Oreca Audi had a spin on Mulsanne's corner from worn tires. The team decided to pit every 4 laps instead of 5 and made up considerable time, with a few off-course excursions, and before 11 hours, regained the lead and has held it since. It seems like making more pits stops, but with faster laps and shorter pit times helped K9 Racing regain all of their lost ground.
-
All the drivers of K9 Racing are reporting fatiuge, but I bet they will find some energy for celebration when they hopefully cross the line first in another 13 hours.
-
After 12 hours, the K9 Racing/Oreca Audi has a comfortable lead over the #2 Joest Audi.

Not much has happened in the last three hours, except for this moment, which is on the list for the "Quaker State DEFY: Deying the Odds" moment of the race.
It started on Hour 8, when the K9 Racing/Oreca Audi R8 started to push from over 3 minutes behind and too the lead brfore Hour 11. Fast forward to hour 14 an that same car is now putting the once-leading #2 Joest Audi R8 1 lap down. The team's manager reported pre-race that they would have to put up a fight to win, and that it's going to be a close one, but to already be 1 lap ahead is a suprise to the team.
-
As we approach Hour 15, we have already reported that the K9 Racing/Oreca PlayStation Audi has lapped the feild. The earlier battles between the two Audis have seemed to wane down, and even if you go deeper into the feild, the Pescarolo Peugoet and the Toyota TS020 have went from nose to tail to a couple of seconds behind each other.

21 hours through and not much has changed, as far as trends of the race. The 2001 Audi that was once leading has dropped back behind the Pescarolo Peugoet, which has overtaken it's rival, the Toyota TS020. Change that, the Toyota has just gotten past the Audi for 6th. I'm not sure what's going on, but all I know is that the Audi keeps on ducking in and out of the pits. Pehaps it the drivers, but you'd think that after a couple hours of this, they would stop doing such and start trying to make up lost ground. Perhaps it's fatiuge? I don't know, but that's what I'm thinking as all the cars seem to be doing so now, except for the K9 Racing/Oreca Audi R8, whic has been pitting only for tires and fuel since the start.

Let's recap.
IT was a relatively calm start for the feild as the McLaren F1 GTR led the feild.
picture.php

The K9 Racing/Oreca PlayStation Audi R8 took the lead, but within 3 hours the #2 Audi R8 was catching up.
picture.php

Not soon after, the #2 Audi passed the K9 Racing/Oreca Audi and the K9 Racing team fell to over 3 minutes behnd the leader.
Hour 8 was when the team decided that it was time to pick up the pace, and started clicking off fast laps.
picture.php

By hour 11, had passed the #2 Audi for the lead.
As dawn rose, it would show that the K9 Racing/Oreca Audi R8 would be unstoppable and the #2 Audi R8 began to falter. By then the closest competitor would be the other Oreca Audi and the bentley, both of which who were 2 laps down.

The K9 Racing/Oreca Audi would prove to be dominant, as it took the win, 6 laps ahead of the Bentley.
