here's what i noticed: the audi r10 will always be last or 2nd last for the first 2-3 hours with 2 laps behind the ai bob in 2nd place. however, around 11-13 hours it'll actually move up to 2nd place with a 10 lap lead to the ai bob in 3rd place. but it's got a lower top speed on straights than any other race car, so how is this possible???
also, does any1 know where the r10's tend to finish? do they usually keep the 2nd place or lose their lead and fall bak down again?

Pit stop glitches. The other AI will eventually pit every lap because of their drivers strength, but the R10 is lucky enough to avoid this race breaking glitch and will finish 2nd.

Except in my 24hr races at le mains the pit stop glitch has never happened. Its also going to depend on how many NON LMP cars spawn that are going to give away there positions to the R10

Vipers
F1s
Nissan 390s
AMGs
All do more laps slower than the R10 does.

well, i think it's impossible that me and the r10 are the only lmp cars. that time i took notice the r10 eventually outlapped the r8

I've also noticed sometimes the bmw v12 lmr and the amg mercedes reach 2nd and 3rd respectively due to the pit stop glitch.

In real life though the R10 would walk over the R8, not by lap times, but by the fact its diesel engine gives it the legs to go farther between stops.

yeah, the audi r series race cars basically dominate le mans lol
but that's not the case in the game tho :S

what i noticed was ai's always pit when their stamina drops below 10%l

I had finished Le Sarthe 24h B-Spec and here are my datas to share for you;

My Laps: 454
AI Laps (2nd car): 328
Prize: 260.000 Cr + Toyota GT One

The R8 isn't a LMP, it's based on a production car which is the case for many of the other cars in the race.

Some LMPs include -

R10
Pescarlo cars
Bently Speed 8
The group C cars which lead to the LMP category.

I've run this race many times and never had this 'glitch' happen to me. I'm aware that drivers will pit every lap once their energy is gone.

Oh, I'm having one of them dumb days today. Twice in the last hour I've been wrong. Must be getting sober. :dunce:

It's because you haven't set your pit strategy to a certain "strength" level.

Leave it as is, Bob's perform slightly slower when their strength is completely depleted, but nothing too worrying.

Played this last night and noticed another glitch.
Certain times when its raining, the AI and your own b-spec will continue to pit. Every driver has full strength and 4 new tires, the thing is though, they will select rain tires over and over instead of intermediate.
