There is going to be a 3 day Lan party :dunce: at my school this easter vacation. Me and a friend decided to participate not with a PC, but with a PS3 and GT5. We are going to take on the 24h Le Mans Race. We decided to take 1H turns but we came up with a problem. We will be doing this in his PS3, and we both have different DS3 controller configurations. How can we solve this problem in order to have different configurations on the same Ps3?

You can't.

Get a wheel.

Get used to a different setup? There is no solution.

Probably we will since we can`t change it. :/ Nether of us have money or know someone who can bother us a wheel so thats out of the question :/ PD should have thought in this situations :S

Is it an option to suspend the game (save it in pitlane)
Restart GT5 and change controller settings before continueíng the endurance?

(Never used the suspend option, so I might sound stupid )

I believe you can only change the configuration in main menu :s

Yes but you can access the main menu if you pit in during an endurance race and then use the suspend/save feature.

Not sure about that:nervous:.

If I remember rightly, the only options you have when you suspend a race in the pits is to either cancel the suspension or press PS button to exit to XMB.

Can you change the controller config from the XMB? I don't think so but someone is sure to know.👍

After a suspension you only have the option to continue as you were or quit the race entirely.
You cannot alter any of your settings that you can't alter mid-race (such as sound levels, HUD options etc).

You will simply be taken back to the race upon running GT5. So the only solutions are to get a wheel, find a compromise between your layouts or simply learn one or the other.

Chuck Norris approves of this, and so do I.

GET A WHEEL, it will be much mroe fun, I garuantee. :sly:

Not everyone has the money to buy a wheel it's not that cheap.

Why don't you guys find a different configuration that you both like? Somewhere in the middle kind of. It'll be kinda hard to get used to, but that way it provides a nice challenge to the both of you. Hope it helps.

We will do that
