Hi,

With some friends (5) we raced the 24h le Mans race last year during the real 24h.
This year, we will do the 24h Nurburg.

Some of my friends don't play GT5 but are fairly good racer. Some play GT5 but are average.

The question is... Do you think that we have a chance to win with that car?

From the few tests I made (The wheel is already at my friend's place. So it was with a DS3, that's why I cannot tell if it's close to what will happen with my wheel), the car have to pit for tires every 2 laps (hard tires). The settings are just a quick implementation of the apex guide.

The avg lap time is 8:20-8:30.

A quick calculation made me realize that we can only reach +/-160 laps. From the reports I read, we have to reach 168 to win...

So do you think it's still "winnable"? If not, which car should we use?

Thanks.

Unless your very good, NO.You need to maintain 8.15 minimum as that is the times the AI do in the dry in the dead of night and also facture in fatigue, In the day in the dry they lap arounf 8 mins. your main competiter will probably be the Mazda 787B.

Thanks Mark.

So which (touring) car would use to do the race?
In my garage, only the le Mans cars, F1, Xxxxx have greater PP.

You can win it in the N24 GTR...

You can win it in a Cusco Subaru Race car, like Famine did there...

Your going to have to be extremely good.
Ive done 4 so far, 3 before the tyre wear update, was easier then and once since in the GT-R R35 TC but you will need a strategy and stick to it.
As I stated earlier the AI lap times you need to beat, go do some nightime practice< all 5 of you.
