24hr save game and continued play ???

Hi

Im finaly doing a 24hr Aspec race and its taking long... duh but Im saving at differant points becoz obvousily I have other things to do and I also sleep . My problem is that when I turn on GT5 to play it doesnt allow me to do anything else aprt from continue from where I left off in the 24hr race . Thats all gd if I feel like sitting there like a zombie going round and round for ages which I dont mind when Im in the mood but because Im doing this race in sections some time when I turn the console on I want to play something else on GT5 that nisnt an ASPEC race ...

so mmy question is

Is there any way with out losing the point from where I last saved on 24hr , that I will be allowed to do online play or photo mode for instance or will I have to just continue this 24hr untill its over which with my style of completing this will take probs a bloody week

Unless you finish the 24hr race or quit it completely, you won't be able to access anything else. obvousily..
 
Either quit it or finish it. It's your only options.

Yes you can use your second account if you don't want to continue an endurance race, I've tried it and it works (which seems logical to expect).
 
You guys are all wrong. You can back up your game before you start the race and then load up the backup whenever you get bored. Make sure you save your race in the save data as well though.

*Yes I realize that you are in the middle of the race but I'm just saying for the other Enduros.
