OK, I've just reached level 40 today, the big question is, what car am I going to use to win nice and easily the 24hrs of Nürbungring? EXCEPT X2010/X2011, races with these two monster are awful boring!!! Please be free to suggest me some good cars for that race!!! Thanks!!!

The minolta would probaably walk it.

I agree the Minolta would be the best.

Any race car will walk all over it. The tire wear patch broke the race, all the tough opponents run out of tires on the 3rd lap and take over a minute longer to get back to the pits.

Currently doing this with a Nissan GT-R R35 TC. 7 hours in and I'm ahead by 2 laps.

Aye. It was a nightmare in a X2011 and I probably crashed on more laps than I did clean......don't do it:crazy:

I did however get to leave the car sitting at the side of the track for hours on end as I just wanted the tick in the box for that one. Wish I'd done it in something more fun to drive now though.

I might try it in a RM'd TVR Tuscan speed 6.....that might make it more exciting even if I spend the whole race fighting for mid-field places.

If I was to do this race (extremely unlikely), and I wanted to do it "easy", I'd go with the R35 TC. I used it in the Real Circuit seasonal and killed the LMs easy. And that's on dry pavement. In the wet it puts a beatdown on LM cars (at least those driven by the AI).

I like the idea of doing it in the Schulze GT-R. For "why" go and watch the 24 hours of Nurburgring video that was recently released.

I'm using the Schulze GT-R at the moment
About 21hours done with 2 lap lead, it's been hard as tyre wear is such an issue, can only get 2 laps in on either rm or rh, I'm losing 30 to 40 seconds per lap in the dry (got in the lead due to it raining for hours on end, intermediates got me about 40 to 60 seconds per lap advantage) never thought i'd ever hear my self wishing it would rain! lol :)
My wish nearly came true at 20 hours but never came to anything
I will say, it has been fun but will be gutted if I don't win

I was thinking of using my Mazda 787B (used for Le Mans), but the headlights aren't so bright... So I bought a Peugeot 908 (great headlights, medium bhp) and a Nissan R92CP (almost undrivable)... I think I have the same problem with Minolta, good car, bad headlights and sometimes undrivable...

I'm using the GT-R GT500 Stealth Model for that (basically upgraded Japanese GT car). The only thing I'm wordier about is an Audi R10. Yes, I'm 4 laps ahead of him, but's it's been raining throughout the entire race (a grueling 15 hours of non-stop rain). I'm a little worried that if it stops raining he's gonna catch up. But other than the Audi, there's a Peugot 905 and a couple R8 LM, but they're nowhere near me.
