250hp Type R Challenge!

Hi all,

I am hosting a 250 hp Honda Type R competition this coming Friday (7th January) 7pm UK time

The event will comprise of three races consisting of 12 laps each. These will be; Suzuka Circuit, Deep Forest raceway and Laguna Seca. The winner will receive a fully modified AEM s2000 which will be gifted by myself so there is a good incentive to win! :)

Details of competition:

Race locations in order: (1) Suzuka circuit, (2) Deep forest raceway (3) Laguna Seca

Laps: 12

Car specifications: Honda type R of any sort tuned to a maximum of 250hp, min weight 1000 kg

Tires: Max racing hard.


This IS going to be a clean race with no aids allowed apart from traction and abs so not for the casual racer. Damage will be on as well. Wheel users are preferred.

Not really but i love Type R's but low bhp and strict rules is not my thing
 
I would be interested, but there's no way I'll be home from work yet. I'm in eastern U.S. so thats 2:00 in the afternoon here.
 
I would be down for this as well but am also in eastern U.S.

I could also post this on the Honda forums. Most members are from California, Texas, Canada and Eastern U.S. A Saturday or Sunday series may work better for those of us in the states?
 
Yup I'm interested but the time factor is gonna play a roll in the lil series I'm also in the US eastern area too. I think if u rethink the times u will get s Lot more people in this series.

Im interested. Not sure about tomorrow but definitely sometime:)

I want to try and create some Best Motoring type races with bone stock type Rs and the S2000. Slowest at the front etc. If anyone wants to add me my ID is GazRwood. I love the way the stock cars feel.

Maybe put the video on youtube, sounds abit sad i know.lol. But i love it!
 
Hi guys! Thanks for the responses!

Ok, well i will be hosting the race event tomorrow anyway and see if we can have an informal Honda race.

Would love for us to all get together and do a proper three part race. How are u guys for Sunday and perhaps upping the hp to 280 brake? I would rather keep N/A though. :dopey:
