27" monitor recommendation

Yes I'm quoting myself, sorry..

I set up my 144hz screens last night and all I can say is WOW..!
What a difference in quality and smoothness. Very hard to describe except what a leap in improvement.

I've run single 1080p Plasma, 1080p Projector, Triple 27" 60Hz and now these and by far they are the nicest I've seen in terms of picture quality and smoothness - will be very hard to go backwards from here.

It really is a nice display. I've read on iRacing forums that if you cap the frame rate at 144 it's better. I used to leave mine unrestricted and it would go up and over 200fps, not noticing much difference with it at 144hz but I guess I won't experience it go from 190 to 130 and potentially affect control.

Anyway, congrats on the purchase - my machine is all ready except for the dual Titan's which I've been told arrive this week...

Haven't played pCARS for a while now - probably about 2 months ago I had a lot of issues with triple screen gaming - even reducing the quality levels to medium etc and first load would be black screens and missing the start of races - which got me thinking, is a GTX690 enough grunt for this???

I've been going pretty hard on iRacing now so need to make some time for pCARS and rF2 (biggest turn off was their graphics optimisation - in some cases "Portugal" getting around 12fps.. yes, maxing at 20fps but freezing and it's a known issue).

I am running 2 GTX 670's in SLI, in iRacing I cap around 85 FPS, pCARS which hasn't been optimized as of yet, I get around 60 FPS. I would think you need to update your driver, one GTX 690 should be ample for pCARS I would think. Unless money is no issue I would avoid the Titan ATM at least until the prices drop, if money is no object dual Titan's would be just sick.
