any one seen this flick?

i thought it was pretty good....set in the UK it tells the story of the Rage virus that is a horrific experiment gone bad and spreads to the whole of the UK turning people in psychopatic killing machines......its awesome to see the guy walk over westminster bridge and the center of london without another person in sight...

how did they do that?

its everything that resident evil should have been but wasnt....pretty scary....

theres a great part in the church where there are loads of dead bodies about....they guy doesnt know about the virus and he shout 'hello!' and a freaky zombie looks up at him from among the dead...and the psycho priest...

rent thsi film....please..

I have seen it, but I am not much of a fan for the horror film. I found it quite sad how that taxi driver had to die, but you gotta die if you gotta die. It would be really cool if you could have a city all to yourself to drive through. It reminds me of the new Toyota Camry commercial.

sounds to me like youre a little bit squeamish, toyomatt84
maybe you should go visit the whats the worst way to die thread:lol:

camry commercial is AWESOME

the preview for 28 days later looked so sorry, i didnt even see it

maybe ill rent it now though:lol:

It got pretty good reviews - I think it was the same director that did 'Trainspotting'.

My other half won't be interested, but I might grab a look at this one on DVD (including my guilty secret hire wish of Jackass).

Lifted from the IMDB trivia section for 28 Days Later:

The exteriors of the streets of London were shot in the early hours of the morning on weekdays. The crew only had a couple of minutes each day, and crew members had to politely ask clubbers not to walk onto the streets.

Police allowed a stretch of the M1 motorway to be closed for a few minutes at a time for the scene where you see a long desolate stretch of road.

Danny Boyle said that he used topless girls to persuade male drivers not to drive on the streets where they were shooting, to keep them free of traffic.

The filmmakers had the co-operation of councils and help from the police to clear streets (and a motorway), but only for short periods which would have been useless if not for the flexibility and speed provided by digital video cameras which were used to shoot the entire film.

it might have all the features of resident evil BUT DOES IT HAVE MICHELLE RODRIGEZ IN IT? didnt think so:lol:

uhhuh....you know im right.....michelle rodrigez is HOTT!!!

Maybe you should go there yourself. I have been there. I posted some bad deaths, though there are some wicked ones there.

But, as for the squeamish, I choose not to view movies involving horror. It's one emotion that I would rather just stay in the back of my mind. My favorite type of movies is either Comedy or Action/Suspense. Good example: The Emperor's New Groove

Just saw it, great movie. I loved the atmosphere and mood of the whole movie. The cameras and the music made it great. The alternate endings were also very cool. I recommend it not just as a horror movie, but a great movie in general.

The alternate ending, was basically the main bloke died when he got shot.

I remember it came out in the Cinemas around this time last year. I wouldn't mind watching it again, maybe i'll borrow a mates dvd.

I thought this was one of the worst memories ever. The ending was just retarded because, well everyone was dead but the airplane and those people and possibly some people where the airplane came from. It doesn't give you an idea of where else people still were. One of the worst in my opinion.

very harsh slick 6.. i like the cinematics a lot.. good film.. although since i live in the states it wasnt too scary.. i dont think that virus would have even gotten to eire much less across the channel

best scary movie i have seen. loved it so much. what i loved was the camerawork, so unique and effective to make the film more scary. the idea of the rage virus was also great. overall one tops movie

SPOILER

It was just the British Island that was infected. The rest of the world was ok. The plane came from somewhere that was not Britian. They even mentioned this during the movie. You really should re-watch it.

I had thought that the disease had spread all over the world. Anyway I wouldn't pay $4 to rent it again. I just thought that is wasn't that special. You want a good horror movie? Watch Wrong Turn. That is tons times better. And if it isn't available where your at, then that's just too bad for you.

i hate this movie.. its not even scary.. im like a the ring type of person where u **** urself screaming when the girl pops out the tv
