Do you usually wait till you're at 200% Log-In Bonus to do the Seasonals?

  • Yes, I do stubbornly wait till the fifth day.

  • No, but I do do this for some of the bigger payouts.

  • No, I just go for them when they're out!

I did them straight away, they aren't that huge a payouts imo, they will obviously be more later.

But you could do them again then as well right?

I'm waiting until 200% arrives in three more days. Until then, I'm redoing various events to see if there's any difference in the AI which has been driving properly in the Sunday Cup with 340-360 PP cars.

^ Not if they are Time Attacks. You only get the money once.

There will be seasonals in the near future that pay 6,000,000 and 12,000,000 Cr. with the 200% login bonus, so I didn't see the point in holding off on the current ones. But that's just my preference.

I didn't realize the payouts were so huge on the first one, but for the others I'm waiting for that 200% bonus.

So I'm at 130% login bonus at the time of writing this. Should I wait till I get to 200% before I do all the Seasonals?

Just want to get an idea of how many people do this sort of thing generally, and be resourceful like this. I used to never do Seasonals unless I was at 200% in GT5, once the Log-In Bonus was introduced. I actually got the idea from a friend.

Polling it...
Manipulate the time zones, just like in GT5.

It's not a glitch. If you don't play for months, it's nice to be able to get caught back up in a few hours. If anything, they should start us with 200% and then it will be up to us to maintain that.

guess the outcome will be 50/50 ... just like with number of people who used the money glitch ....💡

If I log-in 5 days in a row, get 200% bonus and then won't login for a week. Will my 200% bonus remain after the week of not playing GT6?

No.
For every day you don't log in you will go one step down on the bonus ladder.
after 4 or 5 days you'll be back at 110%. (that's how it worked in GT5)

The time zone trick fixes this.
GMT + 6 hours have 15 min time zone adjustment so you can get it back up to 200% in about an hour.

Could have sworn that if you missed a day, you went back to zero.

When I wakeup, I just fire up GT6, then quit, that's all it takes.

I understand that timezone adjustment can give you 1 day advantage at most? How do you get 5 days advance with TimeZone adjustment?

1. Set the time zone (don't adjust the clock) so the time is between 23:00-00:00.
2. Start the game.
3. Wait for the clock to pass 00:00, enter the main screen (go into a dealership/GT Auto and back out).
4. Recieve pop-up notifying you of log-in bonus increase.
5. Save game, quit to XMB.
6. Repeat stages 1-5.

Usually you can adjust time zone one hour forward, but some time-zones are spaced 1/2 hour apart, some 15 mins (GMT +6 to GMT +5).
You can also use daylight saving adjustment to shift the time one hour.

I've already did most of them but may wait a few days before I do the last ones other than the Hudson which I did this morning to get the car.

The payout is pretty good on the races in general. I was out in the IA Nascar event on Motegi this morning tuning a Nascar. Make a tweak, run the race a little over 100k each time wasn't long before I had a bunch of credits and that is at 130% bonus once it goes to 200% that race will pay over 160k for just 5 laps that take <40 seconds each

I have no patience! I want to do the races when they come out and get the reward!! Anyway I can burn through that dumb NASCAR race now and get a ton of money super quick (got 100,000 with just 110% or 120% bonus) so money is def not as big of a grind now. Thank you PD!!!

OK, thanks for the instructions
