Is Anyone else having trouble beating that devilish monster of a car? Because I can't beat it all.

It's only annoying in Historic Racing Car Cup.
Play B-Spec, beat Like The Wind there and you'll unlock Toyota 7 which will beat 2J quite easily.

easy to beat it on any fast track as it can barely break 200mph...at either of of the ovals anything from a ZR1 to a Nascar can beat it around the turns and pull it on top end. Of course on a tight road course its in its element and then it takes a determined drive in a group C class car to show it tail lights...

Do the Indy 500 in A-spec and use the XJ13 Race Car '66 you win to beat it. That's what I did at least.

I either used the XJ13 or the Ford MKIV to beat it. I can beat it easily, but my BSpec driver needed to use a Toyota 7.

I used the XJ13 with soft race tyres. Easy wins. My Bob used the same car stock and won the first race beating the Toyota 7 and leaving the 2J for dead.

He had to use a well sorted Toyota 7 for the Monaco race though.

I had to constantly check my mirrors to keep it behind, but in the end they were very exciting races

I was in my xj13. Thanks to Indy 500. But I was having trouble beating the 2j. And sole Corvette race car in the second race on historic cup. And I had a hard time beating the 7 on the first race. But I finally beat them both with a little encouragment from a friend.

My hat is off to you, tried the Countach on several occasions, and had my backside handed to me on each occasion.

Had to use the Jag for Deep Forest and the 69 Camaro for Cote D'Azur

As for B-Spec, Bob really did like the Toyota 7 (apart from THAT chicane)

My Bob couldn't handle the chicane or Anthony Nodes (the last corner). He seemed to think the armco was part of the circuit

I used my Countach to win the historic race. It was a really close and exciting race, the trick is to overtake the 2J race car in the first lap. Well actually my Countach was always too slow to overtake the 2J and Toyota 7 in the lead... so I just rammed them off the road and made them last in place

The race is definitely much easier if you are using a Toyota 7.

I used Shelby Cobra to win it...soft racetires and it was fun and challenging!!
