3 Laps Nürburgring Nordschleife / Max 850HP / No Racing Cars

I've just had a wonderful session of this online with some great drivers. We've done about 5 races 3 laps each and the Nürburgring Nordschleife went in a 24 hour cycle during those races.

This is what I bought GT5 for, racing with skilled people that respect each other online and actually have a great race with and against each other. Racing in the night was awesome, and even though it was three laps of the Nordschleife, at night, we we're still racing close to each other.

Especially the last lap always promised to be a nail-biting endurance with he soft racing tires wearing out.

My quickest race was 20:13 minutes for 3 laps, and 6:36 as my fastest lap. :gtpflag:

I drive a Ford GT '06 maxed out to 825ish HP and well tuned. The strongest opponent was a Mclaren F1 2010, also fully tuned but there were also Scuderia's and Murcialago's driving crazy lap times but they couldn't keep up in the long run.

I just hope to have more of these crazy semi-endurance, high powered tuned car races online, so if you think you can compete to those times with your own tuned car I would be happy to have a nice friendly, fair and fast race with you and others in the near future! 👍

I'd love to join in, i hardly have any people on my friends list who want to race properly, it's just the *Veyron* all the time haha i got around the ring in 6:35 something in my ford gt, i don't know how! lol would be great to race :D
 
darnit...my GT makes 865, and my ZR1 RM makes 905. I guess I could detune them and run with you guys. Im always down for a good race.

don't worry about that I'll set it to 900 since mt GT now has 865 as well :)
 
I would love to join you in this type of race. Would I be able to race with a Nissian GTR Spec V '09 fully tuned? Its 868HP but its not problem to downgrade a little to meet your 850HP.

while you are at it, add me as well. but i think i have decided on trying to use the GT LM Race Car. less power, but handles much better.

Will the ZR-1 with the RM package be OK, or does it count is a Race Car. If RM is not allowed, its also plossible to buy seperate aero packages. Is that allowed.

If not, I guess the GT-R vspec would be a good choice.

I'll add you all and set up a race tomorrow, it will be open for many hours. Today I have to work, which is a shame :yuck:

Race modified: no thanks. Other aero parts are okay though!

For all of you with GTR's, you're welcome, although I would insanely praise your bravery if you would take out an FR/MR instead. Especially those with trigger happy back-ends :D It's just when you fly off with a 4WD it's so much easier to get back on track or even stay on the track. With 4WD you take larger risks on the ring that you wouldn't take with FR/MR cars.

Yeah call me old fashioned, but I love high power, sloppy suspension and trigger happy rear ends. It separates the boys from the men :gtpflag:

i would love to be apart of this if it is a regular occurence..unfortunately i'm at work right now
 
Unfortunately my only car that could keep up right now is my GTR so I'll just wait until I can build something RWD

You're welcome with your GTR m8 :) Me and a few others just prefer FR/MR but 4WD is allowed. Just no race cars :)
