Endurance events if you have the time. Dream Car Championship if you don't.

Rubber-banding seems the fastest way if you're into that kind of stuff. I personnaly level up slowly by online racing and seasonal event. Also trying to get gold where I dont have yet (few special events). Not a fan of a-spec so I didnt touch that since ages.

If you do A-Spec events, each time you complete one you will be awarded skill points. If you repeat the process with multiple A-Spec events you will accumulate more skill points since each time they are awarded, the amount awarded is added to your total - a handy feature. Eventually you will have accumulated enough points to ascend levels and this will lead you inexorably to level 35 (and beyond!)

I deduce from your post that you are not overburdened with an abundance of patience so I will advise you that the climb to the lofty heights of level 35 will not happen overnight. It will, in fact, take many days of participating in racing events which is just as the game designers intended and, co-incidentally, is also the primary purpose of GT5.

Who'd a thunk? :)

From 30 to 35 i did Vettel on Gold but i used a wheel. This gives me exactly 6.000.000 exp points. 2.000.000 Each track. But how jump to 35 from 30 skipping Vettel i have no idea.

Presumably you would have to grind many hours. Try seasonal challenges and endurance races. Especially Suzuka, but in X1 takes less time to grind 600.000 exp, more or less 3 hours and 30 minutes. So let's say within ten days driving Suzuka endurance once a day you could do it.

You don't, it's pointless. They decided that instead of adding enough content for you to get there they'd just make you do 1500 hours worth of endurance races or do the Dream Car Championship 4500 times. B spec for levels and money and race online, A spec is worthless.

The trouble is that that's literally days even assuming you do it in the most time efficient way possible. As in multiple 24 hour periods. There isn't enough unique content in the game to pull that off without grinding something multiple times or getting bored because you've played the same race series' several times over in the process. As a driving/racing simulator GT5 is pretty great, but as a game it's utterly terrible.

Frankly, if you've gotten to level 30 and got yourself the X2010 then there's no reason to keep grinding unless you have a specific car you want (in which case I'd say let your B-Spec driver do as much work as possible) or you absolutely must play every Endurance race. Otherwise, I'd recommend moving on to another game frankly because if you don't want to do those things then there's no reason to keep playing aside from when you get the urge to play a race or two every now and then.

Just gold everything (outside of Vettel) win each event as it opens and decide as you go along. The XP info and techniques are in various stickies and threads at GTP and are worth reading.

And just to depress you even further; when you reach level 35 you will be less than a third of the way to level 40.

What's the hurry to get there? Seasonal events will keep coming and online is always open. You haven't done endurance races so there's a HUGE portion of the game worth doing if you've got time. I've only done the first 2 endurance races and I'm a level 32 and I still have lots of seasonal events and the fgt championship to do. Enjoy the game for what it is.

Fastest way is to grind the Ferrari challenge.

Pick the NĂĽrburgring GP event, that's 35900 XP in ~15mins. It has the better XP payout per minute, 24h endurances excepted.

300,000 xp till 30
going to do the Ferrari challenge a load of times, looking forward to getting level 30

Dream car championship is the best way to grind for quick xp. THe endurance races are pretty good for xp. When I did a 9hr one my xp bar went almost 75%. Its just patience.

Race for fun? What are the real benefits from being level 40 anyway I'm level 28 and haven't finished the expert series yet, just enjoy racing for pleasure through the events.

Dream car championship: 84304 XP, might be done in 50 minutes (just a guess, never tried in the X2010) -> 1686 XP/minute.

Ferrari event (NĂĽrb GP): 35900 XP, can be done in 15 minutes -> 2393 XP/minute.

You'd have to do the 5 races of the Dream car champ in 35 minutes or less to make it more effective. I doubt it's possible.
