i did a searh and couldn't find a thread on the same subject, anyways.
this is simple post your fastst time around the ring, with the following giudelines.
1.car must be 300 hp and under and a production car.
2. any modification is allowed as long as the car does not exceed 300 hp, NO NOS.
3 must use racing medium tires.
4. must provide a pic of your fastest time, if not available, we only rely on your word. :nervous:
ok guys lets get started, this could be a fun way to figure out the fastest car that a regular person might own. 👍
have fun.

Ive been waiting for this thread...... :p

However, I wont be participating unless i go to my other game, I dont buy racing tires unless i have too.

But i do know that i made it around the ring with a stock NSX-R Concept in about 8'02.998 I do believe, no pic but I can get one.

oh thanx for the mod that moved the thread i didn't know there was this section, i feel noobish now. neways if no pic its ok just tell us your time, pic is just optional.

wooooo!!
im on it, expect a time from me quite soon.

Good idea, i'll get on it this weekend, don't get much game time in during the weeks.

Managed a 5:24 in my F1 car, but from looking at the top times on the 'ring, that lap suddenly seems slow, but it was with no cheating, cutting off chicanes or anything like that.

300 bhp, what car you gonna take?

I think i'll prob go for about a 200-250 bhp car, then work it a bit, cause it will increase power and responses.

i already have a car for me on mind my 330i laps below 7:30 when i used to suck at the ring, it should be faster now.

i'll post first time.
7:16.845 BMW 330i
here are the pics to verify.

nice, btw, are you using DFP or DS2 eviltoast?

im using the williams F1 wheel

i'm using the ds2. i'm not lucky enough to own a dfp =( :nervous:

imo you should get a williamsF1 FF race wheel, so much better than the dfp if you ask me:P

I'll assume that NOS is not allowed? I don't want to use it, just want to make sure that everyone's on the same page :p

EvilToast
nope no nos.

Cool :)

You might want to add that to the first post 👍 , some people might take "ny modification is allowed as long as the car does not exceed 300 hp" a little too seriously :p

Sounds interesting, will definately give this one a bash!

am doin the nurb 24 hours with a 260bhp Suzuki GSX-R4... am 13hrs into it and fastest lap is 7:09.298, no NOS as its an endurance, but im driving in racing super hards, so with mediums will be even faster. Plus, ive got 190 Ballast weight loaded on to get my a spec points!!!
just realised, not a production car, oh well, gives a time to compare with eh

new time...20 hours in and fastest lap of 7:05.452! awesome little car

I managed to get 7:06.717 with my lovely NSX Type R :D at 291bhp. I'm really impressed with this cars capabilities. I was expecting it to be in the 7:20 mark, but it suprised me.

Although i i reckon i can still knock off a couple of second since i've made a few mistakes in that lap

6'48.435 in a Lotus Elise '00. I think I can break 6'40 if I can just keep it pointed in the right direction for a whole lap. The 6'48 had a huge crash between Pflanzgarten II and Schwalbenschwanz :ouch:

pflangartzen is a little bugger in a light car, like the elise.

ive managed a 7'27'023 in the BMW 330i

Yeah, any of the fast stuff is pretty precarious. Schwedenkreuz is a killer, and Pflanzgarten I & II. If you hit a bump just the wrong way, you're cooked.

And I've got the oversteer ASM set at 10 :dunce:

Aremburg also is a killer, as is exmuhle, cant ever get a good line through them, and the one where you go in fast, kink right then into a hairpin left, spin out every time on entry.

Here are my times in a '97 NSX Type-S Zero:

Split Times:

S1: 44.479
S2: 1'18.659
S3: 1'46.937
S4: 2'36.171
S5: 3'15.015
S6: 3'43.241
S7: 4'32.122
S8: 5'12.635
S9: 5'34.530
S10: 6'15.791
S11: 6'40.040

Total Lap Time: 7'01.906

Honda CR-X SiR '90 (294hp fully tuned): 7'58.110
Highest Speed Attained: 160mph
Screenshot:

Subaru LEGACY B4 2.0GT specB '03 (296HP): 7'47.417
Highest Speed Attained: 158MPH

I'll see what I can do to join in, but why not make it a power - weight ratio limit instead of a maximum horsepower limit?

Just so not everybody's in an elise going for the fastest time. :)

Nissan Micra '03 203hp Fully-tuned
Time 7:54.450 (Lap was clean with ASM and TCS ON):ouch:
I wanted to try the car without ASM and TCS
Anyway, I have one question, can you be able to use ASM and TCS?

'02 NSX Type R - 6'58.319

i'm sure at least 3-4 seconds can be gained, i got that time after about 5-6 runs

let's see you guys beat that time with a 1000+kg car ;)

7'02.39X in a NA tuned S2000, all I did was give it more power and the tires, nothing ese
