32.7 sec. online on Kart Space I

I was hosting a lobby for racing on Kart Space I with the RACING KART 125's today.

I did a few laps while waiting for others to join and managed a best lap of 34.8 sec.

There was one person who completely smoked my time by over 2 seconds. I tried and tried but couldn't even get close to his lap time. I asked him and he told me he was just using the standard controller (I'm using a DFGT). I tried to see if I could be faster using the controller but to no avail.

So is it just me? What kind of lap times are you getting on that track (with the RACING KART 125)?

Try shortening the gearing. You won't reach over 60 mph on that track.
 
I hate it. Everytime somebody posts a lap time, even in a specific car, somebody else comes up with his X1 and tells everyone his "awesome" lap time. This thread was started asking about the Kart lap times, not that monster engine vehicle.

I myself haven't tried that track many times so far... the time looks quite good actually though.
 
Never ran the 125's there. In my original 100 PDI kart I'm mid 33's with a best of around 33.1
 
try it offline too in practice mode as online and offline the physics are completely different. in my 125 kart i have max speed set to 68mph i think for kart space 2. will try kart space 1 later. but yeh you need to tamper with gearing a lil
 
By shortening the final speed thing to 68 mph it just maxes out on the straight, and I managed to get 32.9 with a g27, with ALOT of practice. It was offline too.
 
I've managed a 33,1xx with 110 top speed(I think not in PS3 now), but in practice not online, and with a DS3.
Tried to get under 33s but haven't got it yet, but a better driver them me(not that difficult) and with a wheel should be able to go to high 31's I think.
 
I've done a 32.7 as well in Karts. Got to get pretty much every corner bang on, took me a bit of time reaching it.

I get about 35-33 depending on my mood, people in the server, level of awakeness, etc. 32.8 is the fastest i ever got.
 
these are fast times you guys are posting. in a 125kart at 68mph i couldn't get into the 33's on a G27. but i haven't spent so much time on that track... i've been pounding kart space II, 125kart at 75mph. the fastest i hit was 25.4.

are we ever gonna see more kart space tracks? i absolutely love this more than any other part of the game.
 
awesome, last night i hit up Space Kart I and got 34.4. i can't believe you guys break into the 33's or lower. i also hit 25.8 on track II with the PDI 100 kart, top end set to 75. one long powerslide around the track. i SO want more Space Kart tracks!!!
