320gb Playstation 3 Slim line.... Is it PS2 compatible?

Right, now I know PS2 discs are not compatible with PS2 slim line, but I still see under "Game Data Utility" > Memory Card Utility > Create New Internal Memory Card.

Is this feature usable? I take it is for PS2 games judging by the PS2 / PS1 memory card logo's... you see I want to take my Warriors Orochi 2 PS2 (PAL) PS2 game for a spin... so anyway I can play it on PS3?

Nope. Fix your post by the way. They most likely left that in for the PS3 fat consoles that can play PS2 games since every console gets the same updates.
 
That would be a good reason why too! I forgot that all PS3's can play PS1 games when I made that post. But can slim PS3's play PS1 disc games? I've always wanted to confirm that. Though sadly you can't play PS2 games on the console's that you can't.
 
My cousin has a slim PS3 and I can play PS1 games on it (We were playing Gran Turismo 1)

Also, they are starting to release "Play Station 2 classics" on the store.

Waiting for Kingdom hearts :)
 
I doubt the entire library. Right now they have about 11 games on their I've never heard of (that are supposedly good).

I just hope they release ones people actually love.
