360 degree view of car

Why cant we view the exterior of the car from any angle in game? I would thinkg the PD would have had this feature already. I hate to bring forza into this but I love how their free view camera works in race. Who else wants this feature in the game?
 
Sometimes I do wish I could see my car from the side, and the closest I can get to that is drifting hard and catching a quick glimpse of the front wheel.
 
that would be a major update to GT5. It's just changing the third person camera a bit.

about 360 interiors and more attention to detail, from what I read about forza4's autovista that requires to model the cars again.
 
When i first got gt5 it was a major letdown. id be happy if we could do it even with just premium cars.
 
I fully agree on that, thats one of my most wanted features! I want to see the car also from the side, why develop premium cars when you can't even enjoy them fully in game???
 
Just got GT5 the other day finally and I gotta say that it's pretty impressive, but the camera choices are disappointing to say the least.

Though hardcore racing sim fans will argue that the exterior camera is irrelevant, I consider myself a hardcore sim fan and I still appreciate the fact that you can take advantage of the scenery and visuals of the car something you can't do in real life while your ride is in action, so car fans may as well utilize the option.

Though I would like to have a 360 view of the car, I think the exterior camera needs to be scraped all together and redone. It's a mess. It's stiff as hell and the cars look like tiny RC cars on a massive track( some of them anyways like the Camaro SS premium) I'm still waiting on an update for camera choices man even a camera editor would be nice give us the option to edit cameras and view the cars the way we want to during a race. Shouldn't be difficult no graphics additions need to be made it's just pure programming.

I agree 1000%. Watching cars with a "rotatable chase camera" is one of the coolest thing in rFactor and GTR2. We should be allowed to do the same in GT5.
