i was jsut wondering whens the right point on the track to initiate the 360 and enter the drift. i was messing around on super speedway and accidentally 360'ed into a slide in a 206. coudl someone tell me at what point in a straight to do a 360 to make it look nice please? all your help will be appreciated. also if u can do these urself how did you get the knack of it. Thanks again all. bye.

try it on trial mountain. after the tunnel and the rush down hill on that big straight in the mid section of the track. when you reach the top of the last hill, slam the ebrake and let the rear swing til the car is horizontal than hit the normal brakes to lock all tires and that should do.

this is kinda retarded. what were you drifting on super speedway for anyway? its the same 2 turns and they suck. and dont tell me you werent drifting, you just lost controlled and 360d. about doing it on purpose before a drift, just practice. its different for every car and every turn.

FF on Super Speedgay...
Nice combo.
Perhaps it was the 206 Rally Car. That's 4WD.

Don't pay much attention to street fighter... he barely knows what he is saying sometimes.:D Anyways about the whole doing the 360 into a drift... FC3S5 is right, just practice it on whatever course you wanna do it on, cause its different with each turn and car... I just say stop posting, go practice, and come back when you feel you are good enough... then make a vid... and dedicate it to me:lol:

Oh, and if you wanna study a bad ass 360 to drift download Cuda mans vid that he did for the first comp... just click comp. results in Bengees sig.

it was the 206 non rally car and the reason i was on super spedway is because i was racing my grandpa ( beating him pretty good cuz he cant control my rx-8) and by april ( i hope and yes its far off) i am gettign acapture card. and ill dedicate the vid to ya. thx for the replies. :)

ahha AWD isnt my type. i use FR all the time now. those 2 drifts were back when i first started drifting in GT3. im still doing lots of drifts and saving it up for my drift vid. i want to post it up maybe like in summer. :D

Heres some Hair pin and 90 degree 360 drifts / RUF RGT /

getting into the spins is no prob. getting out on a good drift line is the hard part.

the rgt makes a great exit of a 360 drift, because of the RR engine and weight distrobution. In FR the COG (center of gravity) is towards the front, so in space the car would spin with the y axis through the engine. on the road, the wheels aid the spin around the axis since they apply massive amounts of radial momentum from the other end of the car. its out of control.

the MR's and RR's (it really does say RR in the specs) the COG is in center balanced if not in the rear. The car spins on an axis through the roof/rear window. easy to get out of since the front end is doing all the rotating, its all a matter of how soft the tires are and how high your LSD accel is.

moving on> when starting a spin down a straightaway you'll notice that the car generaly moves in the direction of the rotation. its just a matter of trial and error to figure out where to start and stop / how to use the brakes. the key for all methods is regaining control. it may be not using the ebrake or accelorator at all. have fun! :D
