There are so many things in this game that are 3d and bring the game too life and without them this game would not be what it is. These are my favorite 3D things.
1. Sparks
2. The Buildings in seatle circit
3. Sun
4. Sky


What are your favorite 3d objects and structures?

Also there are lots of stuff that are 2D which i hate. This is the top 2D stuff i hate.
1.Trees
2. Road curbs? whatever those thing are called that wont let you go any farther out
3. People (audiance)

What are some other 2d objects that you all have seen?
 
i think some of the trees look really good and some of the trees look like someone tried to make a 3D object out of paper. My favorite scene in the whole game are the lighted trees on the straight in special stage route 11.
 
I love the tracks, Seattle and Cote De A'zur.  These are both sweet tracks that really challenge your driving skills it is fun to do an endurance race where you do more than hold the gas and push left on the D-pad! I also think it is cool that the seattle track is actual seattle streets that is awesome.  The sunlight on the tracks that are at dusk is cool and the track where the sunlight gets through the tops of the trees and you can see the sun rays poking through the trees.  also the tunnels are cool and how it sounds when you go through a tunnel.  Duh and the cars obviously.  They are very well detailed all though it does suck you can not do the race conversion with the sponsor names and raceing body kits.  But the cars still rule.  One small detail many of you might over look is the road cones.  Ij noticed them the most on my last endurance race. when I am winning by 10 laps I get really bored and I was pushing the cones around you can move them all over and they seem to actually have physics for the cones.  When you smash into them going fast they actually tumble end over end for about 100 feet or so.  That is a very cool small detail.  I think I could go on for a long time about what I like.  I already had a post about what I did not like.  Holy Cow I need to shut up now.  Thanks for stopping!

you can also knock over the little signs that say 100, 200 and so on, on the Complex String course, which I think has the best lighting.
 
sortof off the subject everyone make sure you see the paint job on TVR TUSCAN SPEED SIX car its pretty slick.
 
I went to washington dc today and i was looking at a few big building and i thought about gt's buildings and really some of the buildings in gt look better than building in real life...kinda amazing
 
I think that the 3d objects are a great improvement from the last game. they have really come a long way sence original gt. the ppl in the audance suck but they look kinda funny, makes me laugh. and if u look close enough sumtimes ull see cool cars in some tracks! really cool
 
yea i know what you saying....i just went back and play gt1 for a few min today and i just kinda sat a laughed at how i use to think this game was good...........
 
yea i knoe, its jus kinda weird how all of this started form a simple atari game.... hahhaha
 
the good 3d things that have this game are the buildings  you can look AT THEN and see the litle details
that they put.
 
yup some buiding are glass and you can see the buildings next to them reflecting off of it or in some buildings you can acutally see the ceiling lights in the buildings. Think that pretty cool for putting that much detail they just need to work on the trees cuz that look like a picture they cut out and just pasted them there.
 
I like the ferris wheel on rt 11,that is cool.The wind mills on the test course turn.The light through the trees in trial mt. and deep forest.The coolest i think is the wet tracks and the dirt.It`s so real you can actually feel the road with your car.
 
Like what gearbrain said, I also like the Ferris Wheel on Rt 11, but it's so d__n cool it usually always distracts me. I just drive by staring at the lights..all peaceful looking...thenn BAM!, run right smack into a wall at 190 mph...
 
ah haha..lol...me too half way down the street with the lighten up tress where you gota do a tiny little turn and just like you say baaammm...i then i give up that race and just sit and stare at the tress for a little while...ohh and i noticed on one of the trees that one of the lil lights on there had burnt out.....j/p
 
Call me picky (YOUR PICKY! ) but the sun isnt 3d in the game... Although i love its effects! :thumbsup:
 
Anyone ever notice the lake in Trial Mountain? It looks SO real! You can even see the shore on the other side!
 
well I LIKE EVERTHING IN GT3!!!!!!!!!!

sometime i race in the endurance race i stopping i drove slowy to check the people and the tree. but i still like it.
 
I like messin' with the cones.....keeps me entertained when I'm doing the SS endurance race.
