3rd Person pit-stops in standards only!!!

I am currently working my way through some of the longer races on B-spec, and it is quite annoying that you cant use 3rd person camera in the pits with premium cars. PD clearly put quite allot of work into the pit crew animations, which look awesome, but in premiums you are stuck with the cockpit cam, staring at the bloke who tells you when to go.

I'm sure it's a simple fix that can be thrown in with an update.

It would also be fun to be able to drive yourself through the pit lane to your crew, which I have seen in an old PC game years ago, for that added sense of control.

Agreed, or at least being able to watch behind and on the side would be great

This is true, and it's shame you can't look around like you can in Grid/NFS:Shift...

It's odd how PD so much insane detail into the premium interiors but your driver is stuck looking straight. It's also annoying how the rear view mirrors in the cockpit view are cutoff at the edges of the screen.

Protip: Go in to the controller settings, and map some buttons for looking left and right. Then try it in cockpit view.

You can change your controller configuration to have a look around ,mine is set to the right analogue stick :)

What kinda "look around" though? I'm talking about being able to move the cam in all directions like in an fps.

When trying to look to your left and right at high speeds, I find using the look left/right option a little disorienting. Plus it still doesn't give you that feeling as if your driver is looking around. They feel more like alternate camera angles, rather than "head movement".
 
You can look to the sides in the pit, with a wheel you have to steer left or right a bit. Don't know how it works with a DS3 though.
 
I never been able to look around in the pit and I'm using a G27 :(
 
it works with left or right d pad on dfgt, but its really simple and crappy.

Ironically enough the standard cars get the better pit view, lol
 
My only issue with pit stop is it is nothing more than something that is kinda fun to watch, as the whole process is all automated.

How about lettings us have control over the whole process from using the speed limiter for pit in and out, finding our own pit box, stopping at and driving out of the pits?

Yes but then people would try to run over the pit crew everytime, and when the game doesnt let you (which it wont or else it wont get a G rating) they will complain its unrealistic.

If they let you drive in the pits I expect to be able to do do this.

1. Throw your Slurpee into the pits in a cool manner
2. Run over one of your pit crews head.
