4 hr Nur enduro placement (glitch?)

I did the 4hr nur a while ago with an Alfa Romeo 8c and there was 2 minutes on the clock when I was entering the long straight. I ran out of gas half way through it. I finished 4th after being in 1st. When I crossed the line my possition went from 4th to second. explanation?
 
Maybe two cars were in the pits and you overtook them?
 
I experienced the same issue, twice. The first time I went from 4th to 1st when passing the pits, so I thought it could be the AI pitting in.

Second time it happened in the straight on my last lap, so it definitely can't be a pit stop thing.

I think it is related to your last lap time. If it's too slow the bug occurs, but is hopefully fixed when you pass the finish line.
 
No bug. 2 cars crossed the finish line after the 4hrs ended. They were scored 1st and 2nd until other cars crossed the line that completed more laps and they were moved down the scoring list accordingly.
 
There is a bug in this endurance at least where if you are a lap ahead of some competitors and it's near the end, the pos. ranking will be be incorrect and will display the value as if you were actually a lap down from your current position. It happened in 1.05 as well and was not fixed in 1.06.

When you cross the finish line, the correct position is displayed, and you get the correct rewards in any case.
 
^^ this happened to me yesterday in online race, no matter what place i finished the results (for a second or 2) was wrong. However, the rewards was right.
