4 million credits - what to buy?

Basically, I'm now on the final set of events, level 23, and am stuck with what car to invest in to win the final set of events.
I cannot do the like the wind set of tracks with what I have, but don't want to waste a load of cash just to complete that event, if the car doesn't handle!

Any tips on which car(s) to buy with my hard earned 4 mil, is much appreciated!

If you want to win 'Like the Wind' and dominate the 'American Championship' buy the Corvette ZR-1 and race mod it. Corvette ZR1 is ~180k, RM is ~380k, hopups are ~100k
 
If you want to finish "Like the Wind" purchase Corvette ZR1, do the race mod & put the rest of the upgrades after RM. Max out your down-force, set transmission to 247mph (you can lower the car a bit too!) You just have to get in front in the first race (should be an easy win) On 2nd race just hammer down on the throttle (the other cars will slow down in turns when you don't) draft to take the lead. You should be able to win the race by a couple of car lengths. You'll earn more than enough to pay for what you bought, get the Minolta & have a sweet as hell race car.

Do this, it's the most cost effective way of progressing and the Minolta you win (from Like the Wind) will easily win you the level 24 dream car championship.

This way, you progress and will still have millons left. :)
 
Im right around the same place as you. Im level 22 with 4 million credits.

However, I just won Like the Wind event with cars I won previously. Have you done B-Spec much? Personally, I wish they never included Bspec with the game, but, both cars I used to win Like the Wind event, were prize cars from Bspec.

Bspec Amateur: NR A Roadster Mazda Furai Concept '08
GT World Championship Pagani Zonda R '09

The Zonda isnt a long-term favorite. Its brakes are crap but it will win you Daytona in LIW.
The Furai is one of my favorite cars. Its like an Elise with power, and can win both races in Like the Wind, along with a ton of other series.
 
Do some grinding, Special Events, Seasonal Online, or License Tests.
You'll need that money for the FGT, 4.88 million.
 
Quisp, I'm gutted, as I've never played B spec, and can't see myself doing it either. In fact, it shouldn't be classed as "playing" at all!
I assume I can't buy the Furai?

The main reason I'd go for the ZR1 is you can also use it in the American Championship. This is where I grind for cash....119k in about 4 minutes:)
 
ZR1 bought and tuned last night, just need to get the wheel out to finish the like the wind races - it's a bit dodgy with the pad, keep finishing second!
Anyone else struggling, the ZR1 is a great buy, once modded up it can complete the like the wind challenges without too much effort (the oval I did 1st time, the other race I will crack tonight with the wheel Im certain). Thanks for the advice! Just need to get the cash up to nearly 5mil now to get the formula GT ;)

^^^ Do this a few times and you will be at the 4.9 mil very quickly, American Championship, Indy ~ 4 minutes, 119K ^^^ 👍
 
For 4 millions, the 2 favourite cars of mine are:

Ford GT LM Test Car Spec II - 3.6 mil.
Peugeout 908 - 4.0 mil.

Both are fast, cool, premium and can win anything this side of FGT.
 
Here's what I did:

I did that whole Corvette ZR-1 RM thing for the oval track in the like the wind series, I used my veyron which handles bad but the acceleration in that thing is such a beast for the first race it just blows the other cars away.

You can then use that ZR-1 in the American series which will win easy and you can grind away the 117k Indy race for easy cash and you are set. So buy the FGT and it will win all the races in BSpec, endurance races etc.
