41.1xx Nascar Daytona lap possible?

I was online a couple nights ago and a girl came into the room and asked if she could make a couple laps before the race. The host said ok just a few, for the hell of it I watched and on her second lap she ran a 41.262. She was the only car on the track so she had no drafting help. One of the guys said damn good lap and she said she had been quicker, and then she left the room. Is 41.1xx possible, nobody in the room had seen a quicker lap since the update.
