Nice. Of course Dan's one of the best drivers (and we live in the same city!! :lol:), but it still deserves a 'holy 🤬 that's the best video i've ever seen!' I think I left a comment on Youtube, can't remember. Well done! 👍

Nice one, thought my b-spec does under 4'30.000 in GT mode.
(there is slight difference in power, b-spec drives on wheelie setup :D )

This happened when b-spec'd Nyrburgring 24h endurance ,
so don't have the replay for it.
I remember that the tyres were hard or super hard and the car was
low on fuel
But I will make b-spec rerun the Nyrburgring and attatch the replay
in .max format to this post.

b-spec, you'd be lucky to do a 5'30 let alone a 4:30!

That is one of the best acheivements I have ever seen from GT4. My best was a 5:05, with a pad. I have just dug out GT4 recently to resurect my attempt at a sub 5:00.

I would love to know your settings for this run as I can't remeber what mine were from way back when.

Judging by the HP and things I remember him saying, he ran it as an Arcade Mode full-tune instead of using a Stage 4 Turbo and a custom setup in GT Mode. Apparently the reduced weight makes a huge difference. So the only "tuning" done, besides maxing out the power, weight, and tires, would have been setting the top speed (gear ratios) and you can see by the top speed on the long straight that he set that at 390, apparently for improving acceleration at the cost of some time at the end of the lap bouncing off the rev limiter.

I can't believe I haven't said this yet; great lap! 👍 Surely it's not the best possible time, though - I'm sure you can find a few thousandths in some corners. ;)
 
i know one guy prasinar once he drowe lap with minolta around 4 40 too
