After reading this thread :

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=212162

OK8 made me want to try again the NSX.

So I*bought an Acura NSX, and gone to Nurburgring. My first time was horrible :*8'32. I find the stock nsx really hard to drive. But after some training, and some tuning, my time become far better :*7'32.

Here is a video of the test :

I think (I -know-) I*can do much better, but for 499PP (the GTR '07 is 529) it's quite good.

I can post my settings if you want to.

Nice driving! Yours seems understeering, while mine oversteers a lot . What tyres you were using?

Understeering at braking, and oversteering at acceleration. Most of the time :)
EDIT:*but the feeling is quite strange. It feels oversteering at the start of the turn, then understeering IN the turn, then oversteering after. I*think it gives you total control of the way you want to enter the turn, and if you control the throttle correctly the out is ok..

Sport soft (the title is incorrect, thanks for asking !).

With my settings now the car is really stable, and handy. The contrary to the first settings (in my opinion).

Lotuse Elise, Honda S 2000, and Acura NSX
؛؛ the most three difficult steering cars, and most hard, the best motoring :)

ho drives these cars at Nurburgring, he faced his own challenge and make it done alright!!!! :sly: professional steering mate, i like it

Hey friend, nice video and great recording - tripod?

As I said ingame I cannot drive this car to save my life, so I am keen to try your settings and I will report back :) it looks like you have made it more stable.

Skilful parking at the end too !

Yes tripod, recorded with an Android smartphone (nexus s). The tripod fixation is home made :)

I tested it online after you leaved, but I was 10PP under others, so my advantage (power) was gone. And the race wasn't ultra clean.. I'm not good enough with the car to do not-ultra-clean races.

Yes parking was fun :)

Your titled this thread Sports Hard Acura NSX.... but according the the video and what you've posted in your upgrade list-

"Thanks !

- you've actually used Sport Soft to achieve the lap time. The difference between SH and SS is quite significant especially for a long lap around the Nordschleife.

I have corrected the text on youtube and on my post, but forgot to change the title. Thanks. I will try with sports hard to see what I can do :)

Your post made me buy a little cheap tripod :) much better recording than holding lol :dunce:

I am sorry I still can't find any love for these NSXs. Why on earth does the Acura only have a five speed gearbox/transmission????? I must say though, the Acura seemed to be easier to control than the Honda versions...but they all can have six speed..

My experience is That The Honda NSX, or Acura NSX is a sports car that was produced between 1990 and 2005 by the Japanese automaker Honda. It sports a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive layout and powered by an all-aluminium V6 gasoline engine featuring Honda's Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control (VTEC) system.
