4k patches won't download to xbox 1

I have been preparing to get an xbox 1x, so have followed the instructions about downloading the 4k patches in advance. A week or so ago I managed to download the patches for Forza 7 and Fallout 4, and then turned off the automatic 4k download option to organise more space. However I turned it back on today and no patches have appeared on the download list. I have the automatic update option on as well. I have six games on my internal hard drive which can be enhanced, and an external hard disk attached with a good bit of space on it, but no joy.

Anybody have similar problems, and any solutions/suggestions?
