hey i can't hold a drift in 4wd cars. i can drift pretty good in rwd cars but i just can't seem to be able to hold a drift though out the whole corner in 4wd cars. i can get the tail out but as soon as i get on the gas it comes back in. :banghead: could sum1 plz help me?

What car are you using and what tires and how much HP?

u should try our setting at drift setting depot . the best setting is thios . also turm asm@tcs off vcd 10% ( for me i dont use vcd)
:D :D :D

the car was a STOCK evo8 with sim tires it didnt work so i gave up and just stuck with my fc rx7 and 2000cc silvia

i think thats what it was im in middle of the PD cup right tho so i cant check could be7. probley is 7.

ok..Evo 7....What you should do..Is upgrade to about 420 some HP....You can keep all the suspension stock if you like..But I perfer it lowered....No alterations with the tranny or springs or anything......And Sport Tires...And that's it...E-brake to get sideways And either punch the gas or tap the brake then punch the gas....AWD Drifting = simple once you do it once or twice

yeah u are right . or u can use fient drift . imean swing the cars
before corners than control the steering... that simple all u have to do is practice . is hard 1st time but u will get better later....

drifterzzz...I find feint to aid the E-braking...Because with most corners a feitn isn't causing enough inertia to swing the car around enough..combine the two.and it's deadleh

i never use e-brake . i use feint ... btw if u like e-brake go ahead it doesnt matter what style is it the truth is u can drift...

My 4WD's are too powerful to take the large corners, they pull in too much. I simply just take the middle part of the corner in a drift and let the tires do the rest.

u can always use a lot of braking and when your car turns sideways, you can accelerate then the car drifts, for that, you need short distance gear ratio, so the car starts faster, all you need is between the top speed of 170 MPH, because you will never reach more then 180 ot 200 on some course, a faster starting makes the car goes and turn faster, thats all but try it, maybe im right or not !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My ZZII usually reaches past 200 on the straight on any course. My problem is during the drift, I pull myself inward toward the guardrail.

Because you need to use...SIM Tires!..Wooo awesome..Lol some Z Rated bad boys

Try to go and look in the Drift Settings Depot. There are a lot of settings for a lot of cars ;) If it's easy for you, try to feint drift :D I bet a couple of people in here can tell you what feint drifting is *hint hint TruenoAE86* :D:D

I get my 4WDs sideways easy, but they just keep going and going and going and BOOOM into wall!

try feint drift..tips , before reach the corner, swing yourcars
if the corner is u , stay at right, than go to left when u go to left ,
swing the cars & let the cars slide but dont so fast . the good hp
is 300-400++ more than that u will crash ( boom to the wall )
i dont like track with wall ( tokyo r46,s.speedway,) i prefer
midfield at first corner & 4th before tunnel ...i can hold long drift.
hope these are help ...first is diff but after practise u will better ...
hope u can do it...:D :D :D ( soory tooo long )
