5:37.053 With a C60 Hybride, possible?

So i've invested in quite a few nice new cars and last night i happened to try my Pescarolo C60 Hybride - Judd Race Car '05 on the Nurburgring Nordshleife and i ended up with a time of 5:37.053!:drool: Now i've heard people praising the Sauber C9 Race Car because "it can do the ring in well under 6 minutes", but is it really worth getting it for a fast lap time when i can get in the 5:30's with my Pescarolo C60?

The only changes i made to the car since i bought it were an oil change and soft racing tires, and the gearbox was set to a max speed of 380km/h. Can someone else try this and tell me what time you get?
 
People have gone under 5:30 in the Sauber C9, fairly sure of that, but I haven't got any info to compare for the C60 pezza :P

I've driven both and I was faster in the Pescarolo, but I haven't driven the C9 for a looong time to be honest lol. If you want I can put my C9 online for you to try out, then you can decide for yourself if you want one or not. It certainly seems to be very popular with people, not quite sure why :P it's good! But I prefer some other cars to it myself
 
Cool i'll add you on PSN then :) Thanks. Also looking at the BMW V12 LMR Race Car '99 if you've got that? Lol im trying to get as many cars as possible from the online dealership before the next update, so i've spent more money in the last 48 hours than i've probably made in the last month :p
 
Yeah Chqr :) there are some usual roadcars nothing special. For racecars there is: Zonda LM, Lister Storm, BMW GT racecar (somthing like that), Bentley Speed 8, Nissan R89C, BMW V12, one of the Pezzas.

And yeah pescaralos seem to hit some great times, i use DS3 and pull off some alright times. I mainly only use my R89C now :) only 100k left haha, but I am going to finish seasonals soon !

Looks like you getting to grips with that wheel pretty fast ;) I'll take out the C9 and let you know.

EDIT: 5:36.835 with the C9 but was not a pretty lap.

Those are some nice times. I remember when I couldn't get a sub 6min lap to save my life. Now I can get around 5:40 with some consistency yet with lots of room for improvement.

In my experience the sauber gtone and minolta turn the fastest laps. The minolta is more of a handful though.

We must make a plan to mess around a bit one night. I've got exams at the moment so it wont be soon :(

I got a 6:15.xxx with the minolta, but that was when i first started with the wheel and it was quite a messy lap. I'll do another one when i get time and post the results here

And i think i got something like 5:14 with the F2007. Will also confirm that later
