it's all good. best route to take is to make just ONE thread, update it as time goes on, and give it a bump once in a while. This doesn't mean every half hour or every time it hits page 2, but I give my threads a bump every other day or so. You could probably get away with once a day.
Once you complete a thread, you have the option to lock it, preventing any more postings in that thread, preventing unnecessary bumping.
This is basic forum etiquette, on pretty much any forum.
