You want 0/0 cars or tickets and will send 5 paints? GL man. Not saying it isn't possible but I have trouble and I tried to work the opposite way. I tried to send cars and tickets to receive paint and have some difficulty.

Curious, the 2200+ paints, is this the number you see at the top of the paints list when you open it? I am curious how you have arrived at knowing you have 2200+ paints.
 
Yes, I send 5+ paints for cars and tickets. We can work something out if you like to.

when I open my paint list in GT5 it says 2200+, so I think I have 2200 different colors. I got a lot of doubles, so I should have around 3000-4000 paint chips in total. :)
 
nah, right now I am after 0/0 RUF so only looking for those trades right now.

Unfortunately, I don't know how things work with the paint in GT5 but I think it actually breaks it down by car. So, if two Toyota cars have a light blue, it counts as two lines in the list, even if it is the exact same color.

I have according to my list in GT5 2500+ paints but when I logged them all into the master list going around, I have only 1900 unique colors. Cause there are only about 2400 paints in the game which is why I am curious how you had so many.

I was curious cause my two projects right now for collecting are all 2400 colors but more importantly all RUF colors with 0/0. I probably won't be done with that for another month or so but when I am, maybe we can start something up if still interested.
 
I think I only have 3 RUFs 0/0 (2xRGT,1xBTR), I also collect them but 0 Switches UCD stuff is ok for me, much more easier to collect. 35 total atm. ;)

Collecting paints is tricky, I know. So I don´t give much effort in collecting paints. I like colors with cool names and I don´t care about all the different silver metallic, green mica kind of stuff. You´re right about the "even if it is the exact same color", but there are also a lot of paints with the same name but with 3-4 different shades. So much too complicated for me. But we can trade some paints or cars in the future. Just let me know when you are looking for something. :)

I was just talking with Sharky and he said you might know the difference between the white and off white BTR colors. Do you?
 
No, I don´t have any white BTR atm. But Sharky should know according to his list he has both cars. I find it curious that there should be 12 BTRs, I only have 5, while I have 8-10 of the other RUF models (except yellow bird of course!).

Sorry for going off topic btw. Yeah, I asked him since I took my list of colors from him. I figured if he had them, he'd be the expert. But didn't have the two side by side to compare. I just find it weird that there is a distinction. No other RUF model comes in a just white color. All RUF seem to have an off white only variation. And I have the off white RGT and it may look a little dark but it isn't a specific shade or hue. It just isn't a very bright white.
Trying to collect all 41-42 color variations so I want to make sure I am not chasing a phantom car. That would not be so fun.
 
Cars without color name are always problematic. Some call one color gunmetal grey or silver, pink, purple, red, orange, different kinds of yellow etc. Best is to ask sharky to bring the two white BTRs online, so everyone can check if there is a difference.

thanks for your offer. I am interested in the RUF and the Lancia. I can give you 15 paints of your choice for the 2 cars. I have some spitfires, but I am booked for the next ten days (maybe free tomorrow!?!), so chances are good that you find the Spitfire in the UCD until then. If I am free on 12th I can send you the Triumph plus 5 paints for your 2 cars.

Sorry I haven't had the time to look at the color I called white..... and of course I may very well be wrong... I'll try tonight..

To the Good Dr. I itemized my Paint chips in my sharky969 account which said at the top that I had a little over 1200 paints but after I typed them all out (excluding doubles) I only came out with ~1004 so I think the count is kinda weird...

I have the RGT in "off-white" and it is just a darker shade of white from what I can tell. Maybe you happen to have two of the same color? Just odd the BTR is the only RUF to have a "white".
