I finished with gold in this event, pause, exit and it just goes to black screen. I had to hard boot the PS3, 3 times now. Anyone else with problems?

#88 right now at 56:234 with the FX 45 Concept. That's good enough for me. Anytime I can crack the top 100 even if its in the first few hours I'm happy.

I actually had problems with this one - maybe because I had a 1 week break from GT6... I couldn't win it with the Tesla (too heavy) or Chevy Camaro (too muscle car-ish :D).. I picked a Ford RS200 as I feel best with AWDs, instant gold but the time was not that great :/

54.683 with my disabled self atm. Since it is my right side that was affected the most by my stroke, I've had to make some changes to my rig to compensate for the effects. My pedals are now left side orientated with the gas pedal to the extreme left and then the brake to the right. I am having to operate the pedals with my left foot only. I'm steering basically one handed with my left hand with my right basically acting as a guide only. Shifting with the paddles with my right hand is a bit trying at times, but I refuse to use auto. So yea, here I go again making lemon-aid out of lemons. :p

Good to see an American shunning Automatic! No offence to the best GT6 Auto users who I respect. But as a European I can't drive Automatic unless playing GTA5, I find it totally dull and not driving for me. In Europe even old grannies can all drive manual cars in real life. :D

54.387 atm for 22nd place. This is a lot of work for me here, a lot of frustrating restarts because of my condition. My brain knows what to do, but coordinating that with my four limbs is a different story. My doc says its a good alternative to add to my physical therapy routine, but I'm only allowed to play for an hour. I guess playing for any longer than that can possible bring on another stroke or even a seizure so I'm really not happy about that. Such is life though, just have to play with the cards I'm dealt. Anyways, that's it for me tonight. God Bless, live free, and race hard.

Hope you have a speedy recovery! That's a good time still:)

Thanks my good friend, appreciate it. I'm not happy at all with the time, but am I ever? Doc says I won't recovery fully from this one, all I can do is hope for the best this time around. Its a bummer to realize I'll never be the person I once was, really disheartening to say the least. Just another mountain for me to climb at this point. As you can see though, nothing is going to stop me from playing and pursuing my dream, a dream I'll chase until I'm physically not able to. At that point, they may as well put me in a pine box along with GT and bury me 6 feet under. ;)

I admire your mature and collected approach, i really do, Let's hope for the best

I'll try it and see if I get a better time :p

EDIT: Thanks, I did 56,4, but there's still plenty of room for improvement - I just need to drive in a more calm manner :D

Your tune got me 55:484 atm for 318th... 👍 Still room to improve...

It may be basic, but it is effective... Nicely done and thanks for sharing... :)

And you're right, the hardest is to avoid the car sliding entering corners...

Not often there are 2 really good TT's on at the same time :)

I tried the Shelby, but didn't enjoy driving it, so dug out the old GT40 with a tune from @WhoosierGirl (old Rome Seasonal I think), and it's fabulous here... lacks straight line speed vs the Shelby, but has better brakes and a lovely balance.

54.163 (17th) with a few tenths left to chase.

Hello, mind sharing? hehe

Unfortunately Not mine to share, and I'm not sure if @WhoosierGirl has shared it on the forum.

It was the reverse rome seasonal, I think I changed some as I went on but, this is what I had posted originally....back when I was a TT pup! lol.

I added a wing but dropped it to 105 and will probably remove it if I try any more laps

I remember using this tune on the Rome Reverse Seasonal Event. Was a really good setup. A very easy Gold.

GT40 '66 here as well. 58.961, but I'm sure I could shave off another 1-2s with practice. I'm leaving time all over the place.
