To the FITT community, how have we gone this long without using this group of cars in a shootout? There is not one rotten banana in the bunch of 500pp cars. But the track will put them through hard work a track that is fabled as ummm something I can't think of but all i know it's called the nurburgring. The sign of a good tuning competition is in the difficulty in choosing a car to tune. As I drool over the list, I already know that I will post my 1 selection for the competition along with four or five other cars that are on my short list. Whether I can produce a podium finishing tune for this competition is irrelevant. The true prize will be the glow that this list of awesome tuned cars will bring to my garage. All people who enter will receive a car under 100k of their choice but the following places will get higher

1st 2mil
2nd 1mil
3rd 500k

So basically you choose a car within the price range
Anyone can enter

Testers needed: anyone can be a tester pay is 10k per car tested person with the highest tunes tested will receive 5 chrome paints and a car under 1mil of their choice
Testers have to test the car with abs 1 and sports hard
All testers must post the time on here

Car restrictions: No race cars no Elise's ( track rippers right Elise's kinda own this class race cars are a class up above the others)

Other restrictions: no aids other than abs 1
I
Competitors can only enter 1 car so pick wisely

Tires restrictions: sport hard

Deadline: 20th July

Forgive me for saying this, and I mean this in the nicest possible way, but you clearly haven't done this before have you? :p

Tyres? Any power limiter restrictions? Any ballast restrictions? Any car restrictions, eg. no race cars, no Elises? Any deadlines for entries, and for testers' feedback?

Take a look at previous FITT shootouts for some suggestions of what you could do with this, but I daresay you're not really going to get much attention from tuners otherwise.

It's nice to see someone wants to run a comp. I just wait for the rest of the details before entering.

I'll keep an eye on this one. :)
 
Like Ripper said, go check out the FITT sticky to see how past shootout hosts set things up. Plus it may give you some great ideas 👍

Also feel free to ask members here and FITT, any questions you may have. We're all pretty friendly... except me, I'm an 🤬:dopey:
 
If you are looking for any testers I would be more than happy to do so. No need for gifts or anything like that. I'd test for free, I just love driving and learning as much as possible about setups. I do have the worst possible controller setup in the game (d-pads/auto trans/"X" throttle) so if I can do it, anybody can. Fell free to visit my garage, it's kinda getting a make-over at the moment in preparation for GT6 so I apologize for it being messy.

I'd suggest making TCS an option, as most people here tune and drive with it off. You also need to specify tyres, Sports Hard-Soft is usually the norm for this PP.
 
@lionheart, i drive with the same oldschool dpad setup:)

If i enter there is also no need to pay me with credits or cars

Any news on tires?

Looks interesting. I'll see if I can whip one of my cars into shape.

Looking over the setup, I see that you haven't given a track to run on, which seems to be the only thing missing. Are you keeping this off until the tunes are in or did you just leave it off on accident? :)
