60+ Cars in american GT5 P?

I'd rather burn the $$.
I've just seen the american prologue site, and it says there is 60+ cars in it. Now how comes the japenese version only has 40+? This makes me wonder how much the european version will have, I mean have you seen the UK website? It is far worse than the US version, are we getting left behind?:yuck:
 
I'd totally agree with you Southend!

The UK website hasn't to the best of my knowledge been updated since well before Christmas.

All of the information that i'm getting on the game is coming from here (so you're in the right place) and sites like CVG, Eurogamer and GamesRadar. The US site also says that there will be 6 tracks instead of the 5 in the JP version.

What the UK will get is beyond my knowledge at the moment! But we can (until anything says otherwise) be happy about is the fact that we should be getting GT5P before the US, which is a massive change in the way non european developed games are sold!
 
Southend rage, love your Xbox Live Gamertag, it sweeeet.:). So the UK will get GT5P before the US? What ever happened to worldwide release dates, must be hella hard to do.

I am curious too about the amount of cars in GT5P. We know the JP version does not have 60, on the US site it says 60 but only shows a small number that includes no American cars. Hmmm, the US site, with no US cars on it, that's the way to run your site PD, j/k. Its fine, I hope they are working on the game and not their sites anyway, they have never been their strong point anyhow.
 
Do you reckon if the US release has this many cars that us JPN version holders will get an update so we also have that many cars etc??
 
when the american version comes out the japanese version will be around four months old, a great time to to release content and keep the game going for them, with new cars a track and players in all regions online, the japanese will see this a positive update.

I would then think any future updates will be store bound at the same time for all regions. I would guess august time, which could be when home is about, allowing for private races from the GTplanet racers lounge on home
 
Yes, maybe that extra 20 cars is why the US version is coming out a bit later, but I will be pretty annoyed if us in europe never get the supposed cars and track.

Also that email from game states that it is out in march, has 40 cars, 5 tracks, so that must be the European version then.

Now i'm confused.:scared::banghead:
 
The (pretty certain) EU release date looks likely, due to the fact that Logitech put it on the bottom of the press release about the DFP Steering Wheel.

As for updates and content, be patient! It'll make it all the more fun when we eventually get our hands on it! :lol:
 
Yea, all most of us can do is speculate, hope and wish.
 
or then the extra cars are just modded versions of the already released ones.. Daihatsu Copen with a CF wing and bonnet/hood anyone? :crazy:
