Hi there guys! I'm a bit in two minds because I don't know wheter to choose the Audi or the Lambo, and of course I would love to have a bit of advice from somebody that knows for real which is better in the 600 PP range.

Thanks beforehand guys, any help would be appreciated ;)

The Audi is not bad but you should use the Lambo, it handles much better.

I would go with the Audi. I have experience with both and the Audi has never failed me yet.

I would say both, The Audi is great in handling and acceleration, The Lambo is also good but then don't buy the Gallardo, buy the Murcia or Superveloce, they are much better.

Between These two the audi but the other lambos win

Thank you very much guys :) I will go for the Audi then ;)

I don't have that much experience with the Audi, but i'd choose the Gallardo without any hesitation, it handles like a dream, has a smooth, easy to control slide, plus it has the virtue of leaving the starting line like a slingshot.

I'd even pick the Gallardo over the other Lambos, it edges the Super Veloce a bit IMO, and it makes the Murcielago look like a tail-happy pain in the ass.

Only problem with the Gallardo is braking at the end of a long straight, it seems to need a lot of distance to slow down, the Audi would probably win in that particular aspect.

Go with the Audi but NOT the 5.2 it sucks compared to the 4.8 version and with the smallest amount of tuning the Audi will be a complete pussy cat to drive and very competitive at the 600pp rating.

I like the Gallardo but it definitely handles worse than the Audi (IMHO). Might be because I'm not that good at tuning but having spent an enormous amount of time tweaking the Lambo for the recent seasonal I never really got it to handle as well as the Audi

Challenge yourself and use the Gallardo. Tune it right, and its a way better car to drive. Stay away from the Noob Audi-anyone can drive it.

And the truth shows up. lol

I agree with you, but it's the 4.2 R8..not 4.8. But yeah I definitely prefer it to the 5.2 as well.

I would, but as I don't have much time to get a good tune on every circuit I'll stay in the noob and easy side ;)

The Seasonals are your friends. Buy both. ;)

Thanks for picking up on my error 👍

Out of curiosity I bought both Audi's (5.2 and 4.2) and configured them up to be as near identical as possible. Both cars were rated at 600pp and an identical setting in terms of weight distribution, aero, suspension, LSD, Torque dist, gearbox etc and I ran them both around the Green Hell, both cars did it in 6:40! I have to eat my words a bit as the 5.2 wasn't as bad as I thought it was but for me the 4.2 was a much easier car to drive and had a much crisper response. A good driver could easily shave 20-30 seconds off my times but for the sakes of comparison I am very consistent even if a little slow.

Bottom line: I'm with aadil717 and still say the Audi 4.2 FSI R tronic '07' over the Lambo and the 5.2 FSI Quattro

Update: In the interest of an unbiased reporting I have just bought, configured and run a 600pp Gallardo and acheived a lap time of.....6:41 but even though that time suggests it an equal car to the Audi the reality was that I had to fight that car every inch of the Nordschleife, it was not a pleasant run. I am more convinced than ever that an Audi is the right choice.
