Ok folks, After a brief Rx-7 versus Evolution match. . . I decided to put it on the line

You got $70,000 credits to purchase a car, prefereably an RX-7 or Evolution, but it is ok to purchase another car and run it

Race - Free run - Complex String

OLR rules
1. No touching walls
2. No "off-tracks" two wheels on same side of car remain on track
3. No Kicking in the nuts. . .
4. You question your run post you thoughts on this forum
5. Monster7 must run a Lawnmower with a turbo :D j/k

Post your sector 1 and 2 times :D
Feb. 26th through Mar 4th

Good Luck and God speed :D

I'm almost finished with my ride.. It's all I'll need to beat you bumbs!! :D

that is classic, so I'll readjust the rules for you :D

Are you keeping in mind that the cheapest EVO 7 is nearly 15,000 cheaper than the RX-7? That's a Semi-Race Trans, Clutch, and Flywheel.
What if you can spend only $30,000 on mods?
That would be a fairer test, At least monetarily.
Of course, I still think the '7 will beat the Evo.
Before you jump on that, keep in mind that the Evo with a Stock tranny, is really quick but has a fairly low top end.

I am keeping that in mind here. . . but this came up from the RX-7 club versus Evolution club race that lastest one day. . .

I ended the race early mainly because there was a lack of people. And the fact that me and only 1 other person were representing the Rx-7. :indiff:

Did I mention the Rx-7 Club's slowest time was 1½ seconds faster than the Evo Club's quickest time? :)

 Monster... QUIT BRAGGING!!! Nah man im just playing. Yeah you guys did win so i guess you have your bragging rights. Im sure it would be a better race if it was on a track like Grand Valley.. :D Im not saying that is the reason why i lost but the advantage at lugana is for the RX7 more than the Evo.

Yeah its sad that Evo lost so fast to those Rotory Rockets but what can i say? RX7 are great car and i love them as you can see im part of the RX7 club myself.. being a member and a fanatic i am so surprise how it is so fast on lugana.

Lets wait for GT4.. .Tsukuba battle... im sure the Evo's have hte upper hand there. Since in real life the Evo set the faster record than the RX7 (stock that is by a few seconds... which on a track is incredibly fast. If im not mistaken its around 2sec. + ) :D Im not sure if the game will be that way but it should be fun.

Enough of this.. but yeah i agree with what Gil had to say.

The Lancer might be ahead of the FC Rx-7 by 2 seconds, but not the FD!! The Impreza hold's the record for fastest un-tuned street car at Tsukuba. (Today's track fact)

If I have time I'll put a turd together for this race. :odd:

The offical times by Best Motoring. I meant fully STOCK car no tuning. As you can see the Lancer Evolution is faster than the Mazda RX7 and the Subaru Impreza on this particular track. The RX7 posted great time but not enough to beat the Evo and or Impreza. Also the GT-R edge out the RX7 too! NSX-R is fastest, but you have to consider the tire choice and the condition of the track so these times may varie. Look at how close those times are.. and with different drivers so we cant really compare because Gan-San and Keiichi Tsuchiya may not be on the same level as skill driving goes so we cannot tell which is faster or fastest by these times because there can be and is alot of variables that can change the result.

If I get a truly "wild hair", I have an idea for a 70K car that may just better both the Lancer and the RX-7...
(laughs evilly).....

especially since the deadline is past, and there are no times
