Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to an Apocalyptic series on the GBRC calendar.

This will be a four week, eight race series, with points scoring for qualifying at the same rate as race finishes, (ie, 28 points for first, 27 for second etc). Precision will be required, because there will be just a single lap qualifying period, and slowest first grids. Therefore, the person who puts in the fastest qualifying lap gets 28 points, but starts in last place.

A rolling start will be employed, so that fastest driver will have plenty of work to do to get to the front.

But what equipment there is available to do that with!

Those brave enough to take on this monumental challenge can choose from any of the following nuclear powered monsters:

Aston Martin One-77 '11
Aston Martin DB11 '16
Dodge Viper GTS '13
Dodge Viper SRT10 '06
Dodge Viper GTS '02
Mercedes SLR McLaren '09
Mercedes AMG GT S '15

Tuning is not allowed, but power-up and weight reduction will be used to bring them to the very top of the N700 category, with a minimum weight of 1,400kg.

For race one at each meeting tyre and fuel degradation will be set at No 1, and S/H tyres will be used. Race two will be exactly the same, only different. ONE set of S/M tyres will be available for this race, with fuel use still set at 1, but tyre degradation set at 9. Of course, you can pit to remove your trashed S/M whenever you see fit, and can use as many sets of S/H as you like. Whether or not a driver chooses to use their S/M at the start, mid way into the race, or not at all is their decision.

The first meeting will be at Alsace Village, at 8:00pm BST Sunday 5th April 2020, with two 18 lap races, each with its own short qualifying period.

On 12th April the venue will be Suzuka, 19th, Maggiore GP, and 26th Sardegna Road Track A II(Reversed).

Winners must, of course, be punished, and in this case it will be with a 100kg weight penalty (You've got over 700BHP, don't complain!) and the penalty inflicted on those who have the temerity to come second is 50kg. (Since it isn't possible to adjust the weights by individual kgs there will be a simple minimum 1,500kg for a race immediately following a win, and minimum 1,450kg for second.)
Weight penalties reduce by 50kg for each race completed, but will, of course, increase further if some blighter who's already carrying ballast has the cheek to stomp all over the opposition again.

Get your wheels in good order for this one folks, because no other cars give mine the work-out it gets monstering these beauties through the back roads of GT Land, you can feel every ounce moving about, and each tortured tyre/brake pot, trying to keep the whole stampeding hulk out of the Armco. Speaking of which, damage will be light.

ABS will be available, but all other assists are locked away out of reach.

Car choice is completely open, within the seven mentioned above, they each have their own characteristics, but I honestly can't separate them lap-time wise at these regs. If you want to swap and change you can, if you want to stick with one, you can! Beautiful.

Run away now, if you know what's good for you, before you become infected with my need for overwhelming POWER!!!!!!!

If any of the old Racers Reunited crew (or anyone else for that matter) would like to get involved in some close, clean racing, there are currently fourteen drivers signed up to this event.

Cheers, Zo.
